I was waiting for something special that makes all the monotonous grinding on leves that are all alike to reward me with a skill that at least looks different.

No such luck. Am I the only guy that's extremely disappointed with this? This is the worst lvl cap skill I've seen in any rpg ever. And yes no matter what the distant years hold 50 is the cap now and I suspect it's going to be that for a long while.

Seriously it's the cap or you are fooling yourself with no proof to back it up. Sure they raised the cap from 75 in XI (btw the previous end-game spells WERE special already)but that happened after 8 years.

Yeah and when XI was released in Japan there was a 50 cap as well that was lifted around the time it was released in the US a year or so later. So calm yourself.

And not to mention theres nothing good in XI @ 50 (dont say AM for blm cuse they were added after cap increase XD)

But tbh i agree with OP, every class is like this, though on conj im glad for soughspeak 2 because its actually a good skill but the levibolt 2 lololllllzzzz so useless. (or fucked cuse stats are brokenz)

SE said before FFXIV launched that the cap will be 50 at first.
the dats contain skills up to lvl 100, wether they will be used in the future or not is up to SE.
if you're so pissed about MRD only getting bloodbath II at 50 then i suggest you to play LNC next.
LNC gets different weapon skills, sadly most of them sharing the exactly same animation, so don't complain =P

Bloodbath 2 is actually a really good ability, on MRD it makes you absorb 100-200 more HP than the damage dealt, on other classes , it just it makes you absorb about the same amount of damage dealt, which is a huge improvement over Bloodbath 1.

why didn't you look up what traits you were going to get? Then it wouldn't be a surprise of the crappy Bloodbath II you get at 50.
