    Well i like my white mage so far, nothing to change for me (Ok a self resurrect would be nice for me) , but i also just play casual content, no hardmode. Maybe there its different. The other classes i have not played yet, next will be Paladin. Maybe less of a die

    I think they fixed White Mage, it's Scholar that need a rework.

    Yeah, Whm is just fine, just got to understand it fills the role for those that like pure healing and such, if you want support/utility go Ast if you want dps go Sge. Now Sch could certainly use a rework, its only got midigation going for, prolly best in the game now next to straight up tanks, but its kit is just such a bore and fairies including Saraph are si underwhelming now.

    I think with a raw healing output comparison, Cure 1 is not really the way to go if you want to point out whm issues. In essence you create issues where there are none most if the time I mean, where’s Solace, Tetra, Benediction? Most fights revolve around a specific kind of flow between ST and aoe phases, and whm’s cd’s reflect, and play into those from what I’ve seen so far. Personally I feel whm is a great healer, with a nice flow, strong cd’s, good reactive healing potential. I thoroughly enjoy it.

    Scholar is fine, the only thing that needs work is the counter-intuitive interactions between the fairy gauge / dissipation.

    I think Bard is good, truthfully. It was the most widely praised job in Stormblood and it's not like it's changed rotationally there much. I think the ranged phys role in general needs to lean more heavily into being the "support category" again. From what I gather the issue is the role in general as opposed to how the job is functionally to play.

    Dark Knight - yes, absolutely. Don't get me wrong, I don't think its previous iterations were amazing either, HW was a mess that just happened to benefit from being the "magic tank" while PLD wallowed in its useless physical leanings (but it did have Scourge...mmm..). But I think it could do with a fresh start. It feels so plain, the Dark Arts damage buff might as well not exist...most of the new stuff is just traits. I think they should lean back into the MP management a bit more again, but give it a new system that isn't just "Warrior but black and purple". It just feels like it doesn't really have its own identity compared to the other tanks any more. I'd maybe even consider Warrior having a rethink too because like Drk it's just so plain...the only difference is you occasionally have to maybe think about your +dmg buff on WAR, and it having more flavoursome defensive CDs. Living Shadow would be cooler if it was more interactive somehow. Also TBN is unusually over-praised, it's not all that, especially looking at the other tank party shield upgrades in EW. It's an iconic job in the series as a whole, so it's really sad to see it as such a generic tank. I know EW isn't out yet, but I think it's fair that DRK mains are underwhelmed.

    It's too early to tell but...
    No job requires a rework anymore.

    Most of them works fine and SMN was the very last job with major ability bloat/mechanics that can't function with the game.
    However most jobs requires a few balance and rework on abilities.

    On Tank side, they all look perfect except DRK.
    Living Dead is a living nightmare, Drain Abyssal and Dark mind still here for some reason. Also, Bloodweapon.

    On Healer side, they all look fine, SCH will change a lot due to 1.50s cast.
    It may, however, see a small rework of the gauges as the fairy gauge is now tied to only one ability. Only thing they could do is finally listening to the player base and add more than 3 DPS buttons.

    On Melee side, nothing to report.
    MNK got its rework, SAM needs no rework, DRG needs no rework, NIN had its light rework, RPR is a new job.
    Only thing I can think about is MNK finally able to overcap Chakra.

    On Caster side, nothing to report.
    BLM and RDM still works very fine and SMN gets a rework.

    On Ranged side, it's the whole role that needs to be reworked, the "Support DPS" theme doesn't exist anymore and role skills are lackluster.
    MCH got a rework but needs a few abilities to see a light rework (Flamethrower, Wildfire, give HC the stack system...).
    BRD is a complex topic to me but so far it seems to work and SQEX finally added utility and charges on Bloodletter.
    DNC is a new job that works fine.

    Most jobs only needs an expansion on their gauges, reworked clunky abilities.
    There is no job that is a cluster of problems like SB MCH, SB DRK or SHB SMN.

    Overall I'm pretty happy with the way Bard is right now. Without knowing how it'll play in 6.0, it's difficult to say what might need to change with 7.0, but here are my general thoughts.

    1. Make our attacks less reliant on RNG. For example, every 3 Heavy Shots procs Straight Shot Ready.

    2. Make Bard a large-area AoE buffer and Dancer a small-area buffer. Maybe also make Bard's buffs more ranged/caster-oriented and Dancer's more melee-focused so there's less overlap but more benefit to the group when both are present.

    The jobs I think should get a revamp are:
    1.) Dark Knight (Tank)
    It a shame that they lost their identity to play like Warrior. I wouldn’t mind the return of dark arts especially since Sage is getting a similar mechanic. Maybe mixed in with some draining mechanics they are dark knights after all and they are known for draining and expelling their health to deal damage.

    2.) Scholar (Healer)
    While SCH is good mechanically, poor SCHs are looking a bit stale especially with the new flashy healer. I know that Eos and Selene are the same individual in the lore but it would be cool if we could summon both at the same time, and if Selene got a unique identity again. Giving them a more interesting dps kit would also be nice, they are tactical units for god sake.

    3.) Black Mages (Mage)
    While all the mages have a great identity, BLM leveling process needs to be reviewed the rotation changes so drastically almost every capstone.

    4.) Melee (None)

    5.) Bard (Range)
    I have a feeling that this will be resolved with the next set of jobs we receive in 7.0 but Bards should definitely focus more on support like Dancer.

    WHM is good and just needs a few skills tweaked. Lily bell in particular.

    SCH needs a SMN level rework. Ghosting still happening and abilites dont mesh well together at all.

    DRK needs a complete rework from the ground up. Currenlty endgame is a mess and leveling is a mess.

    BLM needs its leveling to be reworked so it doesnt feel like a completely different job every 10 levels.


    BRD is going in a good position in EW but needs more tweaking.
