Welp, Dragon Quest Event Was Disappointing

I feel for ya, but the single-page guide on the event specifically stated the three items you'd receive in exchange for doing a quest and two FATEs. I haven't seen all of the special events, since I'm fairly new (my first was Make it Rain this year), but the ones I have seen so far would lead me to believe that 'one quest and a couple items' can certainly be the entirety of content in a seasonal event.

The content of the event, on the other hand, are usually a bit more involved than one simple FATE and a cutscene, which is about all this event has.

I have done it before, so no, I wasn't expecting anything else. I just noted that most other events has significantly more content. That, I am sure, includes most of the 2014 seasonal events.

By recollection, the Shantotto event was similarly hollow, though again this was six or so years ago. Lightning's was better however. Well, after the first section. First section was just Lightning joining us to fight Crabs in La Noscea. Can't recall every seasonal event from memory, so that's about it.
