It was nice to hear Yoshida talking about the future, I know he wasn't able to provide a lot of details (for obvious reasons), but it's just a reassuring thought, that the train has thoughts for the future lol (I know this seems like you should assume, but given all the stuff going on, and even some major missteps form other companies, it's nice to 'know' it's a thought). More particularly he said he was going to talk to us after Endwalker has had a moment. Curious what they intend. I did think there was perhaps meaningful mentions of TV series allusions, and then after 6.0 being a new "series" (doesn't mean it has to be a new game, and given other interviews could be a greater sign for engine reworks or whatever). Even a joke with 6.3 moving straight to 7.0. Which important to know the context is not "that's when" he was speaking more "who knows", but all this time I feel it's important to listen to when Yoshida thinks aloud (it reads to me that he's thinking about it- and if you've listened he's even talked about things that a new vision may do and need in that future, it could be idle musing though I've seen idle musing become reality a few times now, yet of course sees no need to distract from the current momentum nor in a particular hurry to announce any new ideas / directions). I know it's vague and somewhat obvious but it reassures me for whatever reasons lol, that are maybe silly to describe.
Also want to say, and honestly I feel this way for every major communication in English, that the translators get props. I didn't catch the gentlemen's name that was speaking in the background so uh silent cheers to him lol (I swear I heard it before in a duty commenced once but maybe just crazy, unfortunately they're all pretty much broadcasted while I'm working so my attention is at like a solid 10% lol), but we obviously know Aimi who had a few Q&As where it was just her solo tanking the duty xD (and of course the others, like Koji in the past). Absolute virtue watching that! I saw a few where I almost was distracted by Aimi than the content at hand because I was just like "holy chocobo, that's a lot to take in and then regurgitate in a different language for so much". Again sorry to the guy, maybe he was introduced but I did skim and utilize some of the auto captions to try and cram in as much info as little time as possible and maybe skipped his name on accident. Props to everyone. The other aside being it was cool that Yoshida had familiarized himself with some people's content and then commented to them on that. Of course also props to Yoshida for 32 interviews lol. So when does he interview all members of the forums for 5000 more? ;D
Edit: Listening to more interviews there may have been other people helping too but some of them were edited out to reduce video time, so high fives all around - even if you're unnamed, still good work.
Another aside so far to mention (still going through stuff, like only half way done lol), I liked they thought to give the Garlean area life (even though they destroyed it for whatever lore reason). I appreciate that they didn't try to paint them pure ugly shacks because 'eeeeeevvilllll'. There was a life, well was.. ;P. That they couldn't show the other areas because of spoiler concerns is very :3... Looking forward to see some neat stuff.
