The cutscenes are majority pointless. It's mostly just a boss jumping down from a ledge and roaring.New players feel rushed during cutscenes? Let make cutscenes unskipable for everyone! And increase rewards while we are at it!
Oh wait, it sounds familiar for some reasons.
But yeah, maybe make bosses untargetable until everyone has their cutscenes done viewing. I don't mind either way.

Did you know that if you pull the final boss while a sprout or anyone is in the cutscene and the wall locks that the wall can kill the player in the cutscene if they're standing in the center of it when it locks.
I've seen it a few times and it happened to a spout in brayfox hard last night.. had to explain what happened to em and they missed the entire fight because being dead they don't get the teleport option
I’m someone who does w2w pulls (mostly).
I’m also someone who will sit and wait until whoever is in cutscene is done. Not to stick it to whoever’s prematurely pulling or what have you, but just because I want the person who’s watching to feel comfortable watching. Who knows, even if it’s not their first time they might’ve wanted to see something that they can’t in the inn room. I don’t mind.
Let whoever pulled have their way. If I’m DPS then they can deal without me. If I’m healer then they can mitigate damage and stuff till the cutscenes done (typically no more than 15 seconds). And if I’m tank then idk… kite the boss around for the time it takes for whoever’s watching the cutscene to be done
I remember my first really bad dungeon run as a sprout (Aurum Vale). I also remember what I consider the first really toxic dungeon run I experienced (Amdapor Keep Hard), as well as a handful of other choice bad player encounters in the several years I've played. When they happen, they often stick out in my memory. What I don't really remember much of, however, are the hundreds and hundreds (if not thousands by now) of other completely fine if not terrific runs I've done.
What I'm getting at is most people tend to remember the bad experiences more than the good. How often do you run dungeons and raids on a weekly basis, and most of those are fine? Maybe you wipe once or twice, but everybody stands up and progresses fine. Maybe there's a sprout in there, and you have to explain a mechanic or two, but you complete the duty and move on.
So whenever I see a thread like this pop up, I have to wonder how often this really happens, and how often it isn't just a particularly irritating encounter that you get maybe once a week, or once every few weeks or even longer. When I think about it, most of the time the parties I get wait. I always wait when I'm the tank. The worst reoccurring issue I see are immediate pulls in a raid, trial, or alliance raid, and usually no timers, and it's annoying but not quite what I'd call totally toxic.
So is there really some epidemic of cutscene pullers and whatever, or is it just a handful of bad encounters in a sea of completely normal ones?
Forums threads like this one, while surely well intended, are rather pointless in the end. I love doing dungeons, so I've been spamming them a lot, sometimes all day long, because why not? In the past 3 months or so, I can count on one hand the instances of someone pulling while a teammate is watching a cutscene, and most of those instances can be attributed to a mistake as the puller did not realize someone wasn't ready. If this was a widespread problem plaguing a majority of groups and creating discord amongst teammates, I would understand why it would warrant discussion on the forums, but ranting about an unfortunate scenario encountered only in the rarest of occasion seems like a futile exercise merely for the sake of arguing.
Maybe it's just the former WoW player in me still in awe of this community's friendliness compared to the bitterness I've grown accustomed to, but I find these threads, ranting and raving about little to nothing where people snap their jaws at each other like rabid dogs poised for a fight, to be unnecessary. I try to ignore them, but they keep popping up and goading people into participating.
If these issues arise in-game, address them however you please, have a heart to heart with the concerned party, but there's no need to take these hypothetical scenarios here.
I think a lot of people wait for the final cutscene even after pulling wall to wall. When they do pull during a cutscene, they usually didn't notice someone was in a cutscene. You can sleep through most dungeons to the point that you end up pulling the final boss out of habit before looking at the party list. Thousand Mows is a common accident because it pulls you in.

Yeah it dose pull you in, but if you don't press forward after being pulled you'll stop just short of starting the boss fightI think a lot of people wait for the final cutscene even after pulling wall to wall. Stone Vigil and Toto-Rak both have a ledge you can drop down into, but Stone Vigil doesn't start the fight immediately. I've probably mixed them up several times before.
Really shouldn't be story inside a dungeon that would force other people to wait to begin with. That's kind of on the devs rather than the players
Someone that's done the dungeon 100+ times already just won't have the patience to wait for someone that is taking the scenic route. Perhaps it's unfortunate but gamers personalities don't really have a lot of overlap with saints
