How do you know it cost them anything? They could have SE approved bots. Retainers bring everything up and take 2 mins to venture an army of them.
This is what I get from the OP, actually:
Good for you, OP. You're the best 'mean girl from middle school' I've run into today. Nice attitude.Dear other humans: If you do 'benign activity X,' well, I'm going to stick it to you by giving my business to someone else. IN FACT, I'll actually stick it to you even harder by not only doing activity X, but doing it in spades, back to you, so you feel bad.
And also, since I can't handle people telling me that I am mean and rude, I'm going to leave, so hahaha.

im kinda opposite. if i dont see it end in a 9, i wont buy it.You of course are free to do what you want and this isn't a complaint post. But I just wanted to let you know that if you see things being bought even though you are cheaper by 1 gil, its because of me. I never buy anything from those sellers and I love undercutting those people buy 1000, 10,000. And yes I'm one of those people who takes a 200kitem and drops it 20-50k at a time. Its just satisfying.
Feel free to flame, I don't revisit old posts.

Honest question. Do you honestly believe it is benign? It feels way more malicious and targeted then any other scenario. Someone undercuts a fair amount. OK, they need to move it for a number of reasons. I can understand that. They flood the market board. Also a bunch of reasons that you can understand. Someone undercuts by 1 gil. They are saying you are trash and you deserve to get to the back of the line and you shouldn't be allowed to share the same privileges as them. They might not even realize they are doing it. It doesn't mean that they aren't doing it.
Yap... I wish they'd increase the budget for Doma to at least 100k a week so I could delete 50k worth items per week per character.
Besides the fact that the OP just admitted it? Well, if all the "SE approved bots" worked this way, they would price themselves right out of the market. I am pretty certain this is individual nonsense.
This is like someone crying out for attention from someone only for that someone to just reply, "Uhhhh, who are you again?"
I do zero farming and only sell quick venture items. Even if I don't play the game I try to quick venture when I am home. The lowest I have ever made a week when I venture is 1.5 million. 3 million is not uncommon and most I have ever made from retainer ventures in a week is 5 million. I don't know how everyone doesn't know this. Black or white dye is almost 1 million. Replica skypirate stuff is 200k. The key is sheer amount. Lots of it is garbage. But a fair amount of stuff sells for over 100k and I have no idea why. The other advantage to "SE farm bots" is they come with MB space. If we all had the same set amount of MB space this wouldn't work. I have probably 60 things listed from retainers some stuff will sit for weeks. But it is not uncommon to be close to 120 MB spots used.
All they got to do is to add buy orders so that no one can undercut by stupid amounts.
This is actually incorrect. If someone is stupid enough to have an undercut war with me I will gladly place the item at 1 gil. You can't undercut that pal. I don't need or care about gil in this game. I have more than I will ever need.
