There are so many factors that go into these "tank pulls trash off dps to save them (or chooses not to)" vs "dps pulls for tank" that arguing about who is right is

Utterly
Pointless
And
Sad.

Because sometimes the dps is right, sometimes the tank is right, sometimes the healer is right and sometimes nobody is right...whether or not anyone is willing to admit it.

Do keep in mind that I was still referring to my own "tale", as it were. But of course it devolved into that particular debate, because that's GD for you.

All I'm saying is, I ain't playing with people like that anymore! Especially not that one RDM that keeps showing up in my cursed roulettes!

that's what I do and it takes 1 (one) GCD to take the aggro back from the eager DPS - but then again, I also don't let them get in front :P

Had a run in Qarn temple as an alt ninja and I got compliment on glamour by tank, gets me all happy even if it is the most basic stuff!

Or the tank could just do their job and hit literally one button to take aggro, saving time in the run and avoiding pointless pettiness all to stroke their own ego.

Anyway if a tank ever tries to pull a "you pull you tank" on the dps, I just heal myself and that dps instead. I have zero time for petulant little children throwing a fit because "no, mom said I'M the leader!!!!"

Grow up.

Had a Louisoix moment in trial roulette the other day. Bunch of new people in Innocence so I knew I was in for an interesting fight. Plenty of raising and "oh god why is he hot" reactions.

At some point most of the raid dies to a mechanic and we have lb3. It was my moment. I stand in the center of the arena and whm lb. The second it goes off I hear "PAY WITH YOUR LIVES". He's going into his proximity dash and I'm locked straight middle baybee
