Okay, so...

It's in the gold saucer, and not out in the world. Happens in the center stage area, projected and all that. Rows and rows of fans around it at the performances (that are interactive events every 20 minutes). However running something like that takes a lot of work and effort, your sent to goblins and other "tech" teams to bring in people to keep working on it.

If your in the square for the event, it's basically a reskin of the pheonix fight DDR segment. Pass it for tokens. Turn in tokens for awards.


With the main quest only in the gold saucer, a place where things are already strange, it's safely contained.

It happened in other mmos before , like pso2 so why it can't happen in ffxiv?
It would be really nice if we got cosmetics like miku's outfit and maybe long twintails , but i will be happy with anything as long as we get a collaboration.

PSO2 got Miku collab because SEGA own both PSO2 and vocaloid, to even make the collab SE will need to talk thing out with SEGA first so it's really going to be hard

I totally agree with you that Suikoden would be a fantastic series for a collaboration, but I think we both know that Konami is just not going to let it happen. Eiyuden Chronicles might be a possibility in the future, though. Perhaps Octopath Traveler?


Regarding the OP, personal preference aside (I don't personally like Hatsune Miku), it would be interesting to have a collaboration Little Ladies Day event with Hatsune Miku, in the sense that they might be able to do a bit more than make us pretend that we heard a girl group singing and watch them do a little dance... but I also think that Yoshi's team wouldn't have it in them to be able to take advantage of such a collaboration and make an elaborate dance routine or something along those lines, so it would kind of be a waste of effort (all that negotiation, all that planning, etc.) just for the sake of getting another set of pig tails and maybe an outfit.

I'd rather have a crossover event that wasn't focused on feminine aesthetics/female characters - especially with the sharp increase in the number of people arriving to the game who are picking male characters to play as.

Castlevania crossover featuring Trevor Belmont hunting down Dracula who proceeds to team up with Diabolos. Completion of the event rewards you with a dyeable set of his outfit and hairstyle.

I for one am patiently waiting for a Super Sentai or Kamen Rider event (even more wishful thinking in PvP) We already have the poses!

There are male characters in nier. Did we get any of their glams or coffers? No. Only a female one. Pretty safe to assume this would be the same.
