this one is, though, it's in line with his older forum accounts either named after gay porn studios or various kinds of medicine
it's a group of people doing it in bursts, anyway, and people are too stupid to ignore them, which makes it even sadder
Yeah, unfortunately I'm going to have to disagree with you on the whole premise of this post. While I do think that the influx of people from other games has had a mostly negative impact on the community, an increase in player skill level, and a lower tolerance for those who actively do nothing in group content is not one of those negative impacts. There have been numerous threads within the past few months of people gatekeeping others from playing FF14 because of a perceived lack of skill or effort. Coincidentally, there is also an influx of players from another well-known MMO happening concurrently. While I am loathe to suggest any correlation between the two, the reputation of each game speaks for itself.
I would like to remind players that Yoshi P has said that this is a Final Fantasy game first, and an MMO second. Final Fantasy games have always been casual, because it's a story-driven game. The narrative is the important part of Final Fantasy games, not gameplay or technical mastery or hardcore grinding.
"Disappointment and grinding, these are the core elements of our games." a wise game dev once said.
Also you implied that mounts and certain other obtainable items shouldn't be gated behind harder content. You are forgetting that many final fantasy games had secret (and some not so secret) super bosses. Said bosses would drop items that were only obtainable from them. So having mounts and other stuff locked behind difficult content is fitting for a final fantasy game. In fact, it is integral to it.
Hi Titanmen.
Maybe I'll read this later.

I can not believe what i am reading here..... you can not be serious, like no. This sentence verifies you as a 100% Troll.
Boosting is the Reason ultimate titles and savagegear have lost all Value! Man there is so many Legends in this game and most i ask about mechanics ignore me or log off because they payed Gil/ Real Money to get their shiny Weapons and titles to stand weapons Drawn in limsa. Boosters and boosted are the kinds of players i consider Gamedamaging and i would never play willingly with one of those.
Boosting malformed Ultimate content from: "Ohhhh they have ultimate stuff, they must be a good player!" to: "Oh another Ultimate Guy, i wonder how much he payed."
Edit: i am specifically talking about Hardcore content. Not about Level or Storyboosts.
