Feedback: Delete old content that no one does anymore to make room for new content

Rather than delete content because "no one is doing them," I would prefer things get improved so that people want to do them. For example, the experience for completing guildhests and guildleves could be greatly increased the first time you do them per day. So, it wouldn't be worth it to repeatedly grind them, but certainly something you'd want to take part in a little bit at a time to level alt jobs.

I'm concerned you think content works this way.

It's a matter of them not having the manpower/time/insert other excuse here to make as much content as we used to get, not that there's too much already in the game.

Pretty sure deleting old content costs more man power, then ignoring said content and leaving it in the game.

The real reason it won't happen is that game code just doesn't work like that. It's not like a sandbox where you can just scoop a pile out and leave the rest relatively alone. It's more like a Lego set, where pulling out that one specific block might require you to dig through dozens of others to get to it, and if that one block is supporting other parts of the structure, you might have to rebuild those, too, and if those parts are used by other parts......well, there's a reason cut features in games are usually just dummied out rather than removed entirely.

They don't have to do QA on it and by deleting it, it gives them more memory to make new content.

I'm not sure as i haven't worked with a development team but i don't think QA employees are the same as the rest because they just keep testing and giving internal feedbacks and that's all.

the devs that make new content don't do q+a, this is the same logic that says extra character creation takes resources away from ultimates.
