PVP REWARDS SUGGESTION (FEAST)

Alexandre, don't even try to pretend. Some seasons were far harder to get top 100 than others. Armor seasons are clearly ALOT harder due to the reward demand. How about you check the Rating Floors and compare. Each seasonal reward is a literal trophy for that season. Something nobody could ever replicate. Taking that away from feast victor's is a downright insult. Go into the feast and win a few seasons. Your mind will change real quick Bud.

season 16 (mount season) floor rank 100 (primal) 1796 rating (platinum).
season 17 (mount season) floor rank 100 (primal) 1425 rating (gold).

season 18 (armor season) floor rank 100 (primal) 2129 rating (diamond).
season 19 (armor season) floor rank 100 (primal) 2063 rating (diamond).

Long story short, competition was fought for the reward/trophy. and the reward/trophy alone. These rewards are cosmetic only and do not impact your gameplay or hurt anyone. stop jabbing at our world and focus on your pve world.

Maybe you should let the people that actually play feast every season do the talking for themselves, instead of calling people casuals as if being casual was an insult. You are not adding anything to the conversation except an "us vs them" mentality.

The flipped table would be: Only the first 80 players that clear Ultimate get the rewards, after those are done, Ultimates are closed off forever.
You just don't want to compete.


Make all rewards tracks, people that manage to get into the top 100, top 10 of each track get the reward for the next season, if they don't qualify again, they lose it. Like GC horses that if you switch GC you cannot use it anymore. In this case, if you get kicked out of the track the following season you get locked out of your PvP mount/glamours/trophies .

Or add a decay.

Right now the only thing you need to get into the feast and win is time - not skill. Your competition is basically about being there at the right time.

It does ruin the gameplay for allot of people that care about collecting OR Cosmetics for allot of people these are major gameplay elements in MMORPGS.
And the S19 Armor set looks better then 90% of the Set you can get from PvE so screw that.

It's basicly same in World of Warcraft there are special mounts from being high rated in pvp it's really nothing new.
Everyone who do feast worked hard for their reward some players have it easier because they are just better at the mode then others.
There are plenty of items on the mogstation you can get and brag about in the game if you wanted to or maybe join a raid group and do ultimates or try get the rare S rank mounts or something.
In the end none is gonna care much because it's just a game...

Not everyone - I bet there are some, even many, legit skilled players.

But the ranking itself is hardly about skill, more about how many matches you can throw at it. People with more time has a massive advantge. If you don't live in the timezone of the servers you are at a massive disadvantage no matter your skill level - if the queue never pops. And let's not even talk about traders, boters or people that uses multiple clients with alts to push others out of the rankings.


If The Feast is the failure it is, the joke it is, is due largely to it's reward structure and highly competitive mentality that just doesn't fit with anything else the game offers.
Just after that comes the mechanical - balance part and how you actually measure and reward skill.

Long story short, you "casuals" want the rewards given to you without putting in the work for it. So yes theres a serious issue here. Go place top 100 and earn it like everyone else.

You see party-finder lately. Literally full of "selling savage clear blah blah blah" "selling ex/ultimate blah blah".

Dont even bring that excuse into this convo acting like its a major issue, because its not. The real issue is pve buyers, because they flock in the 10,000's. not 100's like pvp. Stripping pvpers of their rewards, would be equal to stripping ultimate titles and weapons and ex weapons from people every new ex/ultimate if they dont do it. You sound absolutely ridiculous.
