If they added Emet-Selch attire to Mog Station would you buy it?

Not really. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I don't like the "story character clothes being on the station" I'd rather we get unique stuff and not just cosplay of them essentially.

Yes I would, his coat is cool and I like the Garlean symbol on the back of it.

I also wish they'd add Crystal Exarch's 5.0 gear to the mogstation, that's one of the coolest robe looks I've seen in game, also I'm still hoping they add The Griffin's outfit as well.

Nah, probably not. I miss Emet Selch the man, not Emet Selch the look. He was the character this game needed - a foil to all the hopeless goody-twoshoeisms and unabashedly earnest Scions; a person who asked real, legitimate questions about Eorzea, whether we were on the right side of this conflict or not, and truly believed in his cause without being a hackneyed 'evil 'cause LOL I'M BORED' villain like Zenos - and they killed him off.

If there were a way to remove the bottom half of the robe, then yes. I very much like the top half of Emet's outfit, and his gloves are reminiscent to me of Colonel Mustang's. However, they hardly ever make robe bottom halves like that, so if they did add it, it would likely hide my boots and pants, and I just hate that, so I likely wouldn't buy it for that reason alone.

We've got enough skirts and dresses to last a lifetime. We need less skirts and dresses in the game, really.

Yes, I'd put the outfit on a mannequin in my house. My cat main would end up talking to it.

Although I first read the title as "If they added Emet-Selch to the Mog Station...", the answer to which was still a resounding yes.

I don't usually use npc outfits, but my character was attached enough to Emet that I could see him wearing his coat sometimes to remember him by, so I'll say yeah, if there was a way to get his gear either in game or otherwise, I'd get it.

I'm still holding out for a statue, maybe something like the Omega one that could show off both Emet, Elidibus and their boss forms, and comes with his signature wave as the emote.
Or if not that, another retrospective quest chain like the one that gets you Haurchefaunt's signature emote.

I want them to bring him back. And before someone says "that would ruin his arc!" - his arc was too damned brief as it was. Emet was a thinking villain cut from the same general cloth as Gaius (although he - mercifully - didn't speak nearly as much). Those are the types of intellectual antagonists that this game needs... not Zenos and his pointless, omnicidal quest for chaos.
