Removing Aetherflow from SCH would be a great start.

BLM needs a major overhaul and a number of quality of life changes to not feel like jank under level 42.
That's not exactly a major overhaul so much as smoothing out the leveling curve, and it isn't an issue specific to Black Mage. Quite a few jobs could use some fixes at that level, like how basically every Job should have some sort of AOE option at level 15-18.
In general I'd say Black Mage probably needs the least work out of any job because it's gameplay at max level is pretty much perfect.

Its leveling experience really is one of the most disjointed, though, and much of that issue (as with other jobs) comes from the devs not caring about any kit still in progress (i.e., short of max level, or at least the previous max).
Nor does lacking obvious holes necessarily make for a perfect kit. I'd rather see what would make the kit's progress more satisfying and intuitive and, if such would give incentive for some subtle changes at max level, take those changes.
Hmm, probably monk and summoner. I'd like to say healers as well but I'm not holding at much hope for any meaningful changes.
SMN and SCH for sure
I still, personally, cannot get into MONK.
Like all the requirements and all the buttons to skip them. Is it really a good design?
As a Bard Main I would love to see more emphasis on songs and not always the bow. While I like how bard functions I just think you play your song and then its this passive thing so the job does not feel complete. it needs to be like 30/70 bard to bow right now it feels like primarily always bow which I can live with but then why have the music aspect at all. Its a job with an identity crisis in some ways it needs more music flare to make it feel like a bard.
Maybe EndWalker will do this we dont know yet. However We all know This Team looks at feedback so its a matter of waiting.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: It'd be better off removing the massive liability of Leaden Fist and having a couple positional-less skills with soft cooldowns of some sort, rather than True North + Riddle of Earth.
Haha yeah, could you imagine if they had skills with no positionals, but they were like... DoTs or something? That'd be wild.
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
