It's pathetic that the modern strat for O12S is called Goodbye World because you just let someone jump off the platform instead of actually trying to solve the mechanics.

Unsyncing old, formerly difficult content should not preclude players from having to learn the key mechanics, even if they don't always execute it perfectly. Making these mounts super accessible devalues the prestige of Savage mounts. I still like the design of Alte Roite, for example, but I never use it now because any player who doesn't even bother doing mechanics can get them.

The common retort is that unsync keeps old content fresh and alive. I see this being true for the Bahamut raids as the story content is mixed in with the default difficulty. But what is the point of keeping O12S or A12S fresh and alive if all you're doing is zerging the boss down in a minute and seeing zero relevant mechanics? You might as well go into the equivalent normal raid and do the same.

I hope Square Enix doesn't cave in and add some insane level of echo to these old fights. It's good that players have to try somewhat to tackle these mechanics. The mechanics are honestly not hard. You just need to work for it. It'll make it all the sweeter when you get the mount. A healthy level of unsync is when players have to do the mechanics but they don't need to perfectly execute everything or do top DPS to still clear the fight. This ensures that the content is respected and players still get to experience the content somewhat as it was like back then.
