Your stance right there, OP, that ain't it chief. You cannot expect people in content where 8 out 8 need to pull their weight.. to be fine with one of those 8 being a dead weight. Things don't work that way, especially not with strangers. If you're not good enough to clear Extreme or Savage without being carried.. you either do what I do, not partake in the content, or you hunker down and work work work at it until you are at a level where you can do the content.

SE doesn't have to do anything to 'fix it' for you.

Players can set whatever conditions for joining that they like, and OP can too.

OP's conditions would be 530 Duty Complete, Carry for friend (I'm the friend). They have no interest in actually putting in effort.

I'm going to say it as it is: with that kind of performance you aren't even suited for most practice parties because you're not even doing the bare minimum (healing) well. A CNJ could do the same. And in anything other than first peek practice parties you're deadweight. Period.
Not being at the required level yet is one thing, it's something that's easy enough to work on with guides and practice and nothing bad in itself but expecting others to make up for it or even for SE to adjust everything to your needs is not how it works.
And there is absolutely no excuse ever to get almost out-dpsed by a melee LB while still getting outhealed by the co heal.
If you want to do Ex/ Savage you have some things to work on before even thinking of getting a clear. The resources are easy enough to find, rest is up to you.

You wanna hear the crazy part? Last time they made this thread, someone did the same lookup. At that point they were basically a 0 DPS healer who was still being out-healed by their cohealer. So from what im gleaming(i choose not to go down that rabbit hole today), the current version is actually an improvement. At the current rate of progress, they might actually be ready for an (ex) before the game is taken offline.

fflogs. Even if people don't actively use ACT, it's common to still have a profile because someone somewhere uploaded a log with them in their party. And since it's publicly available, you're not going against the ToS for mentioning it or using it to research.

It's actually worse if someone doesn't use act. Like for example, you could be doing the raid for the first time, you are unfamiliar with the mechanics, you die a lot and end up with grey or green dps for normal raids when someone uploads the log. Happened to me, I wasn't even aware until someone brought it up ingame. And then I quickly went to fix my dps numbers to purple. If they don't use act they can't fix it.

Yeah it's actually annoying, because people who upload will upload their best runs only, but someone else will upload your worst runs instead, so if you don't upload yourself you're more likely to have shitty logs.

Bad logs are fine. Most people know that one or two random logs are hardly the perfect representation of your best ability and that many factors, often unavoidable or single slip ups, can affect a log negatively. They also don't really care what your logs are unless you're pushing your way into Savage farm runs or blaming others when you don't know your class. Anyone who does bash you over a random poor run isn't worth listening to.

However, it's different if you have a lot of runs logged and they're all consistently terrible, no exceptions, regardless of deaths and co-healers actually carrying you, but you're on the forums writing up rants about how other players are to blame for your inability to clear EX or Savage. That's when referring to logs is justified.
