Honey, you would not be happy about this when his toxic fans infect this game, mkay? ^^
He's gonna dunk on the game and y'all are gonna get upset.
Oh great his fans and his guild are a meme for a reason. They can barely complete a raid with two mechanics total and spent like 8 hours wiping to a raid that's more than a decade old. Any actual triple legend would not want this horde of casuals to come to this game.
I'm not really excited. I have a feeling he is going to listen to some of the people and just boost to Shadowbringers. It is completely pointless as a majority of Shadowbringers will make very little sense to him. Warriors of light you do not even learn about until Heavensward.... ARR introduces you to Minfilia and the Scions..... Eldibus is in ARR content.....you learn about the sundering in ARR....
I just get the feeling he is going to boost maybe like some of the style then spend the next 10 years talking about how horrible the game is to a very large audience because some people never bothered to pay attention in ARR.
I really do like that SQUARE ENIX responded to him on Twitter and welcome him to FF14
The great attention seeker comes to the place where he will get the most attention (and money) possible.
Shocking!
woooooo...
I would love to think were more mature than that. If he has valid points people shouldn't reject it outright. We've lost at least 1 amazing content creator due to the community pitch forking them out because they raised valid criticism about the game.
Of course its a different matter if he acts like Sodapoppin did in his reaction to the Endwalker trailer and dismisses everything without giving it a proper try.
I'm happy about it! I'm genuinely curious to see what he thinks about the game and what his exodus means for the future of FFXIV on Twitch and WoW as a whole.
He is the most popular World of Warcraft streamer that nets around 1 to 2 million views per stream. Having him stream FFXIV is huge for the game as FFXIV struggles on platforms such as Twitch. It's free advertising and no doubt Square Enix will see a massive influx of players because of this. Possibly they will get a boot up the ass to fix some of the more egregious issues in the new player experience and PvP.
Having a large audience means he has a lot of influence, and believe it or not... influencers do influence the products they try out. A shocking concept.
Say no to mythic +.
