Now more than ever I need more Glamour Dresser space.
Can some outdated spaghetti code be spaghetti'd please? This is getting bad, there's barely enough room for event and Mogstation/XIV Store Items.

Non of the mogstation items can be placed in the armoire, why does this one surprise you?
They've stated there is limited space in the Armoire. I think there would be backlash if they chose to use it for cash shop items rather than in game obtainable
EDIT:
Question, why would there be backlash for items that if lost you have to pay MORE money for rather than items that you run the dungeon/raid/treasure maps a couple times to get the stuff to either make it, or the item itself? I would honestly say there would be more joy than anger over making it so Mogstation items could go in armoire.OP made a point about inventory space and the armoire is free inventory space but not limitless. I felt as though there would be more need for space for accessible items, rather than exclusively paid for items.
Your point is actually a better point. Making the Mogstation item so it can’t be discarded because it can be stored in the armoire like some of the other undiscardible items we have. I can’t think of another valid way to achieve this.
I wish there was a more elegant solution to “lock” Mogstation items from being discarded but yeah I can get behind adding them to the airmoire.

That's a fair point. I suppose I should have given more thought into my thread title.
Perhaps I should have said it's disappointing that you can't do this as the thread title. Considering how many Mogstation items there are, it's rather sad that you can't.
Over half of my Glamour Dresser is Mogstation items I believe. And I really wish this needn't be the case.

.... you have over 200 Mogstation items? The dresser can hold 400 items....
What you're referring to is an old event item that was placed in the mogstation a year after the event occurred. What the commenter you're quoting is referring to are outfits made specifically for and released directly to the mogstation.
It's not entirely impossible. A lot of the costumes are sets of 3-5 items. And there's around 60 non-event costume sets. Though some of them are onesies. But there are also the heaven's ward and blackbosom weapons. And carbuncle slippers. Maybe all the eternal bond stuff too, I don't know I'm not married. I don't really feel like counting all of them but it's probably close to 200 items.
The Armoire is very spaghetti code and poor for data management. SE has chosen to limit future additions to the Seasonal Event gear as a result.
They have acknowledged player concerns about the glamour dresser and have said they would like to find ways to increase the item limit but can't give us any estimate on when that may be possible. With luck they're working on figuring out a way to implement something similar to WoW"s Transmogrification Collection.
You can put the ones that were previous Seasonal Event rewards in the Armoire (like the Faire Joi). Someone who has only bought those in the past could get confused when they buy one of the other sets that weren't from an event and find out it can't be added.
