Its too much even for the first relic weapon, not to mention the previous step which required 36 items from old raids, at least that was a one time thing, just imagine...

The one time phase post patch isn't even that bad. You can get all 36 memories in like 4 hours of casual fate farming. I understand the fate drop rate was atrocious pre-patch, but that isn't the case anymore.

I feel ya... DR can be very polarizing. If everyone is at the top of their game, it can be completed in around 30min or even less... Alas, most of the time that's not the case.

I dont even think I requires being at the top of your game. Just using the stuff in your cache and holster can speed a run up a lot..

Gets particularly annoying when you can be on a dps like Sam with font of power and pure essence of the dualist and the tanks cant keep up because they're not using there cache or actions. I'd happily tank on my dps. Done it before. But when they keep voting and spinning the boss so people eat cleaves and dooms..

I did 255 runs of it for all the weapons and it wasn't the worst weapon grind I've done so far.

Seconded, I did the same. And I genuinely still feel ARR relic to be the worst to grind for despite accessibility.
The only thing that makes my process feels worse than how it should feel is when I expected the other to put the same amount of effort into the grind. I.e. using essences & actually making effort to make the run go faster. It might feel to be a common courtesy to expect people do both of these, but instead of encouraging, the game punishes you more than rewards you for making these efforts. No wonder we will run into those freeloaders. Some would even leave the party but not quitting the instance to just afk somewhere in the dungeon cause kicking isn't possible.

Good for you that you got so much free time, but at this point now its dying down already, waiting over 20 minutes to find a delubrum party.
At the beginning it was almsot instant at least.

Well I agree that forcing us to do a single duty for a relic step is too grindy, "I don't have enough time" is never a legitimate argument when we're talking about something as inheritly grindy as... Getting all the relic weapons
