While not technically mine, I really like this character design from the male Viera reveal and (unless there are further options that I like better) I'm planning to make something like him as an alt character.

So he's mine in concept, at least for the next few months.

Now that someone has "graciously" started a new page. Here's some shots of my viera! It's been awhile. I recently unlocked the healer top from the most recent dungeon as well!







..And here I was thinking my viera was quite unique.. I get it, you may not like my pale veena, but you should go and browse more of this thread! Did your opinion not change when this was last posted?



Since then, there has been no shortage of unique viera, even going just a couple pages back we can see more than a few viera that players have made their own! Quite different from that "same viera, pale skin, swooped hairstyle". Maybe one day you'll even share your own unique creation!

I actually feel like I see more dark-skinned Viera than light-skinned..........
Especially if we're talking about more realistic skin colors, a lot of the light-skin colors people use are more like fantasy colors that real people don't have.
I've never seen another character and felt like they looked like me, whether it's in-game or comparing portraits on the forums.

It's not like the costumization of faces is super ultra detailed tho and I mean Viera is infamous for having few hair options.
I mean by that same token all dark-skinned Viera would look the same too, it really just came across as a weird jab at white characters to me...
Especially when looking through their post history and it's basically all about appearance and the second post ever made is again taking jabs at '' white girls ''.

When I look through the thread there's not a lack at all of dark-skinned Vieras.
Going backwards to find my character again the overwhelming majority were dark-skinned.

just post screens of the same viera, pale skin, swooped hairstyle. long face with beauty mark. That's it. they all look like that.

i actually see more rava than veena , with similar skin tones (tan - to darker tan tones) and face 1
it's rarely on my server that i see pale Vieras and i've never seen a viera with the palest skin tone or a skin tone like my viera , with the exception of the forums ofc .
now when it comes to hairstyles you can't really blame them

I play what I like. I like my character. Honestly, people can’t blame others for looking alike. Every race in this game has 4 faces, 2 different subtypes that vary only slightly. There are only so many combinations players can make. There are some players that look unique and that’s great but for the most part, no matter what race you play, chances are you are going to run into someone who looks like you. I see both pale and tan bunnies on the crystal DC. I also see plenty of faces too. I see a lot more of face 1 and 3. Sometimes, I can’t tell face 1 and 2 apart though. I see face 4 too, just not as often. White hair is the most popular hair color for most races. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I don’t worry about what other people look like. I’m the one who plays my character and sees her in cutscenes. If people are looking to be really unique in this game, on any race, it’s going to be a challenge no matter what race you play.

.. why do i feel like i offended someone with my reply ? i was simply stating that i don't see enough pale veiras as there comment implying
also i think what makes a character unique is the combination of glamours and not the character itself since we have a very limited char creator

I just pick what I think looks good. I started as a Rava and ended here. I think she is unique, and she is definitely unique. I'm not gonna go and try even more drastic customization options; this is my viera, this is her. For that matter, I have never run across a literal clone of my viera anyway in-game, I have seen one other person on these forums with a very similar one (different ears). On the other hand, even with the amount of hair, outfit, and hat options I have seen tons and tons of miqo'te clones (as stated), and au ra clones. With the sheer amount of players playing these races, it just makes it more and more common. Viera are a sort of middle ground, and players here have done a lot of work making each their own, and I don't think it is particularly helpful if anyone was to belittle these creations.

Yes, I am back to viera. The only reason I was even playing miqo'te, was so I could have more options, and use my unlocked (or purchased) hairs. I don't like miqo'te; I tolerate playing as one for lack of better options. Viera just has this presence that a miqo'te will never have, they look 'kick butt', are tall, feminine; they look like a protagonist. So, my veena is my protagonist; my story character, my main character race. I hope to see some updates leading to EW, to further enhance her looks, and make earning any hairstyles in the future worth it, so I can use them on a character I actually want to play. I'll probably be here in the future showing off my (potential) male viera alt, along with my veena. So stay tuned!

Oh wow... I thought you liked miqo. The last one you had looked really kool. I guess I'm the odd one as I picture mine as my protag. She's just small enough to work as a battle lead. Least one I would read/watch/draw. But I'm also a sonic fan so I think that factors into it as well. Other than that I did the unspeakable and am trying out viera again. It'll be short lived cause I like the hairs I unlocked but something about the legs keeps me coming back to viera. Even on the shortest height. - Miqo fans starts lawsuit for I have betrayed them.- If they could wear the kitty hat I'd be happy. But dreams be dreams.

I like viera and au ra (retired), miqo'te is the next best alternative for me. They have decent animations, cpose, and unlike au ra - look good in the majority of unlocked hairstyles. Thanks! I like my mooncat too, I still have the preset. I'm going to try and stick to viera though, because I will want to play the EW story as her. I'm in rehab for fantasia addiction.

i personally like your viera way more! she gives me very elegant, mysterious vibes, which i don‘t often get from miqo‘tes.
