Point stands, our traditions aren't cringe unlike certain cats. Furthermore, most of us know what pants are. Miqo'te can't say the same.

The OP is blatantly comedy. We're just an uptight forum is all.Wait, is the general consensus here that the OP is actually really serious? Like straight-forward serious?
Because as I read the OP I couldn't help but to think that it is all tongue-to-cheek, just the OP having some fun.
Well, in any event, I disagree with their assertations, as I really believe that Au Ra is the most beautiful races of all, hahah.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
lol imagine literal cavemen thinking they can lecture on being civilized.
Aymeric is hot, everything else is irrelevant.
Not sure why we're going on about the Gelmorran ruins. Those aren't current living spaces. It's a lost, left to ruin structure. Left because the Elementals eventually allowed it.
But I mean, they're also the Palace of the Dead ruins, and you can see that they're structurally sophisticated with advanced masonry employed in every part of them. Nothing primitive about that, nor about building stable subterranean dwellings/mausoleums, like the Tam-tara Deepcroft and the Thousand Maw of Toto-rak.
In a way, it's very sad that we don't have a current Duskwight city location. It would have been majestic.

We're going on about it because the lore book describes them as living in caves and shunning civilization. Plus it's funny.
