The start of winter is not 'when it snows.' There are dates for these things in the calendar and November is still Fall. It's just late fall.

That's why different countries have different starting dates for winter. Since it's an international fanfest event it's better to just be honest and say the month instead of the season which is different for everyone. Yes. In my country winter starts between october and end of december depending on where you live, since Sweden as you may know if a pretty long country.

Not quite. Seasons are defined by astrological or meteorlogical (temperature) requirents. By both, in 2021 winter does not start till at the soonest december 1st, no matter the nation. So November is still fall in the US.

Autum under Astronomical season is Sep 22 to Dec 21
Autum under Meterological season is Sep 01 - Nov 30

So, they are not wrong, you need to do more reading.

If nation from southern temperate zone is not complaining (Australia), I don't see why someone from NA need to complains

Also in the Southern Hemisphere (or at least here in Australia) each season officially starts on the first day of a month, i.e. summer for Australia officially starts on December 1st and runs to February 28/29. Considering though the definition of 'seasons' is far more broad here in Australia given our wildly different climates which pretty much involve "heat for most of the year, and then several months of rain and colder temperatures" in much of the country, and with our native vegetation/trees being generally evergreen (in other words, Autumn in Australia lacks the 'shedding of leaves' from most trees that gives 'Fall' it's name in the Northern Hemisphere), it kind of makes sense. I could speculate why the US does things differently, but I won't.

Either way, SE stating that they will be launching EW 'in the Fall' is simply shorthand for "towards the end of the year, but we haven't yet decided on a firm date, so it's a ballpark figure". There is no need to overanalyze this really.

Yeah, it is and I live in America. November is in the season of Fall. I don't care what part of America you're in. Winter starts December 21st. I lived in the Midwest for 7 years; it snowed in October/November. It was still Fall and not winter. Just cause there is snow on the ground during the fall season doesn't automatically change the season to winter. Sorry if you live in a part of the US where it snows during the fall. That's just the way it is.
