How much content was cut for Male Vieras?

Do you even have any source to that? Never heard a thing about this, neither here, nor on Twitter. Don't even see how it's in any way connected to homophobia.

There is already one post like that at the first page of male viera thread. Possibly more, and i remember seeing certain discord screenshots with same accusations.

It counts as "delay" if in the end the resulting amount of content doesn't change.
There are 3 expacs with ultimate, they said that "3 is too much so we will aim for 2". In the end there should be 6 ultimates across stormblood - endwalker in best case.
One was "delayed" until endwalker. For that to really count as "delay", they will have to bring 3 Ultimates in total during endwalker, assuming there are no future expansion. Will they? If they do, then yeah, it's delayed. If not - it's cut.
Sure they can pick up the pace in later expansions, but its too early for that.
Considering that they aren't sure if endwalker will even *have* second ultimate, i lean towards shb having ultimate cut.

And yeah, they went blue mage after second ultimate, but that ties into "3 Ultimates is too much".

I'm not blaming them, covid and all, but as of now i feel like it's kinda incorrect to call that "delay" imo.

Best case scenario will be having 3 in EW, but that will surely crunch the dev, so 2 for ew, and let them slowly catch up in the future.
Surely they will have future expansions after EW, Endwalker is just ending the Zodiack and Hydealyn arc, and since ultimate isn't really tied to the progress of the story, it should be fine to have the push.
And Yoshi P said back them they have enough material to at least last until 1X.0.

Things got quite rowdy at the start of the biggest male Viera thread on these forums. People were accusing SE of sexism and such, and even going as far as accusing them of homophobia in a couple cases. Thankfully it didn't last long though but it was ugly. All of those posts could have been removed for all I know. Never bothered to look back. lol WoW's a terrible troll to say the least, but they speak mostly true about how the situation regarding male Viera was handled initially. I don't recall anything about death threats but it wouldn't surprise me either. People do that over the most trivial things on the internet.

Many of the posts were purged but they did get a lot of heat and vile things hurled their way.

It is the internet is it really that shocking? Sadly, WoW's take sounds more believable then nothing happened people took in in stride.

Must have missed those. It's quite upsetting people actually did that.
Would be great if people could stop screaming at devs every time they don't get what they want, no matter what content it is.

Yea, the situation is still uncertain, that's why they couldn't promise on having a certain number of content yet until they are in higher completion stage.
Pandemic could be over in a few months, or kick right back up like many nations experienced, or even worsen. (touch wood)

That's not how it works. If you're supposed to get 2 but get 1, it's cut from the expansion.

It's not really pushed because you have to pay for another expansion in order to play it. It was cut out of Shadow Bringers, plain and simple. I personally don't mind it being cut out, given all that happened. But that is the correct term.
