Male Viera Lore Possibilities? What brings them out of hiding?

I don't think the change the lore, likely the male viera in game are viera who didn' like being protectors of the forest and decided to break apart from it.

Im just happy its being addressed.
Even if the Viera were never my thing, I can be happy the Males arn't just gonna be lazily plopped into the game willy nilly, or use the "WoL is the exception" excuse and pretend any/every other Male Viera out there dosn't exist.
World building & Lore building to include them into the world makes me happy.

Same as Male Miqo you're one of the few, so only 1 Male Viera is coming out of the woods you the player. Male Miqo are still rare we've seen very few of them around the world the only large amount is the Players who if this was a Single Player FF none of them would be around the PCs exist & don't exist game constantly feels like can't make up it's minds about our fellow adventurers.

they existed but they was not important they should have stayed that way the best part of ff 11's cat race is that all the men nearly extinct so they never played any important role in the society

but in ff 14 they had to give into the manchilds that wanted playable male cats because they wanna! would have been nice to have at least one race with no men allowed!

sadly his stardrive did not kill them all before they butchered what made the viera cool just like the cat boys did with the cats

so because i have a different opinion i'm a troll ? really that's your logic meh whatever i simply liked the cats when they was closer to the race i played 7 years in ff 11 only to have them changed to pander to the people wanting to play a male cat

and now it happen again with viera .. SE needs to grow a backbone and say no
just look at G'raha Tia and how much of a gary stu he is his a male cat that just happen to have allagan royal bloodline blood really ... i actually hoped the exarch was anyone else but nope gotta pander to those cat boi fans

Yea SE are totally weak for introducing something purely cosmetic to the game because they knew many players would enjoy it. They need to be more like some other companies and just tell players what they should want instead of listening to them. Everyone knows that introducing male cats is asking for disaster and that male bunnies is going to doom the game to failure. What's next? Female lion people? Hah, well we shall see if FFXIV lives long enough after the man rabbit apocalypse to even have a lion lady catastrophe.
