honestly it's probably just too far in the future just yet. it will probably be announced later on in the summer. don't go all clutching your pearls so suddenly.

It could just be cut because it is less than 1 month before the expansion launches where the devs are going to be at their busiest to sort out any problems and they cannot devote enough time to the seasonal event.
It might be a idea to just ask if they can just rerun the haunted house and decorations in the cities with no rewards at all this year for those that may want to celebrate it.
Sigh. The only event I really care about is the only one that always gets cut off. I'd rather they'd postpone the new expansion but I know I'd be alone in that.
Just because they didn’t put it on the timeline doesn’t mean we aren’t going to have it. They released their plans for as far as September, with the exception of the expansion release in November, but they never once said we WEREN’T getting it...

I really hope its not completely cut. I would honestly be fine if there is no new storyline but at least a few rewards and maybe the haunted house back as an instance. Heck for me the only reward I would need is some prism where you can turn into certain NPCs.
But if they do plan to do it why not put it there? All the other events are there, so why leave it out?
I'm hoping it's not included in the timeline because it's too far ahead and they just haven't worked on it yet. The FFXV event is functionally already done due to being a rerun; Make It Rain, Midsummer, and the Rising are all closer, and thus the work has to be done sooner; and the patches and expansion launch are big PR details that people want to know. Saint's Wake is still half a year away and they're too busy working on ironing out the expansion details to get to it yet.
Remember when we had this same topic for Hatchingtide, and then they still put out a Hatchingtide event?
How about just relaxing on the speculation on something so damned far in the future.
as someone pointed out, its pretty close to release, why say for certain you are going to have an event when the time might end up being spent on some last minute bug.
the team seems pretty dedicated to putting out a quality expansion. personally, if they need to cut an event to have time to fix something, I am all for that. rather have a good release of fairly bug free play time as opposed to an event
I don't get it. I always thought All Saints Wake was the most popular one.All Saints Wake being the one cut again makes me sad only insofar that it was the first holiday themed event in ARR, ever. My best guess is it must be the least popular player wise.
I would love it if they just made some horror attractions in the Gold Saucer permanent additions. Replace Verminion with Haunted House puzzles!
