On an aside, I hate these kind of mobs. I wish our AOE radius/range would scale to the size of the target hitbox. lolgigantic hitboxes

Not a big thing, but in Delubrum I got blamed for like 20 minutes because someone literally followed me when I had the spread debuff on the first boss and they died.
My two options were move to the left or stand still and the whole group would get hit or move to the right and run into a long line of other people with the debuff that I would never have moved past in time so I did literally the only thing I could do.
One GNB decides to follow me ( didn't have the spread debuff ) and died then gets mad and starts blaming me for '' following them ''.
Granted I was arguing back but I get really fucking triggered when people blame me for something when I didn't do anything wrong, same person died from other mechanics too during the run and never asked themselves why they were the only person who died from the first instance while the rest of the group was safe.
What triggered me more is that the person then spends the run acting nice and gaslighting me trying to essentially turn the group against me.
I really can't stand people being fake like that, like they'll make someone mad then do a 180 and pretend to be all nice and act like the other person is just mad for no reason...
I forgot people could be toxic in this game lol, it rarely happens to me.
If I do something wrong I'll take the blame but if I didn't and someone is literally just trying to shove the blame unto me when I did everything right in the situation I get mad.
My girlfriend and I used to enjoy having foot races in FF14, and it's difficult to actually decide who wins. But...
When we look at my screen I'm ahead.
When we look at her screen she's ahead.
The game does a pretty wonky job properly displaying where people are on your screen, so on the GNB's it probably DID look like you followed THEM.
Not that this justifies their behavior and I'm sorry this happened to you.
Not DF related per say but I think this is the best place to post my brain fart.
I've been leveling dancer and thinking ahead I saved up tomestones from MSQ roulette to gear up at 70. I hit the 2k cap and went and spent it all on the gear I needed in Idyllshire.... yeah, Idyllshire... I'd spent it all on the 60 set not tge 70 set, mother flipper!
The only thing worse than 4 runs of the MSQ roulette is 4 pointless runs of the MSQ roulette.

The scene: Holminster Switch.
The party: 2 sprouts on their first run (WHM and BLM) and a blessed monk. And me, your friendly neighborhood DRK.
Things started going rough about halfway to the 2nd boss of the dungeon. I pull two packs of trash mobs with 3 bads each. Not that hard of a pull and to be honest in a level 70 dungeon I figured it would be fine? Since the WHM was able to manage so far.
Nope. I die.
Alright, fine, it's okay. I go again and this time only pull one pack of mobs at a time. Slow going, my 30 minute food buff is gone by the time we hit the 3rd boss. And ho boy... here's where stuff starts to get a little cray cray.
We die. Like 4 times. One of which was my fault, I was standing too close to the boss while it was doing that cute little temper-tantrum esque turn attack. The rest? Our poor little WHM and BLM. I make sure to tell them the mechanics because I figure it doesnt hurt to give it a try but it takes 5 goes at the boss before we manage to make it through. I went through my entire store of backup potions trying to keep myself alive whilst the WHM ran around like a chicken with their head cut off.
Sigh...
Seat of Sacrifice in trial roulette. We get to the phase transition with half of the party dead. Turns out, the QTE raises everyone, I guess just to make sure everyone's button mashing properly.
So we watch the cut scene, one of the tanks hits the LB a little too early, and everyone dies......except me. Somehow I'm still alive, with about a thousand HP. On bard, in non-augmented Cryptlurker's gear. It's not much, and I still get murdered as soon as the boss starts moving again, but it's enough to not have to repeat phase one again.
Got five commendations for a weird random chance.
Did you somehow manage to parry it with your bow?Seat of Sacrifice in trial roulette. We get to the phase transition with half of the party dead. Turns out, the QTE raises everyone, I guess just to make sure everyone's button mashing properly.

This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
I can understand that, but it was only the GNB that died the rest of the group managed. My girlfriend and I used to enjoy having foot races in FF14, and it's difficult to actually decide who wins. But...

The GNB actually left the entire group just to run after me while everyone else was stacking.
It's also not like I kept running I just moved to the side then stopped and there's a delay there where the GNB actually had to stand there and wait for it to go through and get hit.
I just don't think there's any excuse there they just messed up then decided to blame me.
Out of 24 people the GNB was the only one that died, instead of asking themselves why they decided to blame me and start gaslighting me for 20 minutes about it.
The GNB also died multiple times during the run and later on they blamed someone else for it too.
Like that explanation would make sense in other cases but I think it was pretty obvious that it wasn't what happened in this case.

Met 2 healers today in Labrynth of the Ancients who purposely cancelled their ress on me (tank didn't pull dragon boss away from spawn, so half of us in the party wiped). One in particular spammed a raise macro on me, even turned on swiftcast, specifically waited the cooldown, but never ressed me. They weren't out of distance or had to dodge AoEs cause they were literally next to my body, but they cancelled their raise on me midway and got everyone but me up. They also admitted to not wanting to ress me after, just wanted to give me a hug for the death, so I figured it was probably a premade of 7 and they were just trolling with a random in a 24 man raid.

Just speaking to the part about the trash pull. Holminster is not easy on a sprout healer if they just levelled. I would definitely take it easy with trash with one sprout, let alone 2, which is exactly what you did. Probably by the time you got to the bosses that WHM was getting a bit overwhelmed.
