Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

I enjoy both the Viera and Hrothgar races but I’ve got too many hairstyles I like to use to stick to these two races for any long stretch of time.

Its great to have expectations, but its best to keep them rather low for now to reduce the sting of disappointment because they have put hroth and viera on the back burner with vague messages rather than actual confirmations. As much as I'd like to get the customization report that they originally promised, they've proven to put a lot of promises on the back burner for later (or just straight up hoping everyone forgets about it)

Yea well not fulfilling this promise literally means hrothgar and viera are constantly excluded from rewards in the game. A smn not having egi glamour doesn't exclude them from being able to use any reward in the game. Every single time patch content is released there is a lot we cannot use that everyone else can. That's not even an exaggeration. This isn't some small promise that can easily be forgotten about. We're constantly given reminders of how limited our races are.

Mhmm. There’s a difference between setting reasonable expectations and having the bar on the ground. I think it’s reasonable to expect them to update these races after two years of nothing, and tons of cosmetics for everyone else.

I don't know if i stick to viera if they got nothing new. As much as i love them but i miss my hairstyles...

Yeah It feels like I am playing 2/3 of the game when I can't access so much gear and hairstyles as a viera. What is the point of me running certain content if I can't even use the drops? Why should I waste 10 mil on a hairstyle I can't even have? I will probably drop them for good if nothing comes in the LL in may.

Personally I think any expectation that is the byproduct of empty promises from a corporate entity is far from reasonable. I do hope I am wrong and you guys get something I really do but I am not holding my breath. Though I do think if you guys do get something it will be tied to mogstation.

Why would you think it would be tied to mogstation? In what capacity?

Putting them all in the mog station would be a fantastic way to get enormous backlash. I seriously doubt that would happen. At most we would see only -some- end up there.
