Most tanks I know work by the phrase 'you tank it you spank it' leaving whoever got there first to die if they get in the tanks way. My husband is one of those people and it drives me mad when I get into what I'm doing and dive for the next enemy. We all know when bard gets there first bard is squishy when left to own devices. I think tanks should lose that phrase, honestly. It causes more trouble then good.

I forgot about this toxic thread, some people still dont realize this is mmo game full of random people and some with mental issues, if you dont like a player throw it in to your blacklist simple, xD

Lol if you think this thread is toxic (well most of the time it isn't, we've had some discussions that went to bad places) try going to this version on other places where they will call you out by using your fflogs data or just straight up post your name. This is just nothing more then a thread to post funny, frustrating or weird instances.

Managed to snuck a leveling 80 dungeons roulette: Grand Cosmos a bit before maintenance as a WAR, matched with WHM, SAM, and BLM.
"Cool, all the big deeps. This is gonna be fast."

Yep all's good until last boss. For some reason the WHM probably spaced out and died to the purple tether mech. We ended up three-man'ing the last boss. I've read some of those "WAR healer"-meme for quite some time but I've never actually done it myself until this point. I tried my best to mitigate, using [Nascent Flash] on cooldown & targeting both DPS alternately in attempt trying to keep them alive for enough deeps.

Once we down'ed the boss the WHM insta-bail out. Felt a bit sorry for them, somehow.

Had a tank be a jerk in Cutter's Cry. Popping sprint when mine was on CD, single-pulling the ants, the works. We wiped when they pulled wall to wall in the caverns and I gently told them, "please don't run too far ahead, I can't heal you if I can't reach you." Their reply? "LOL keep up, I'm not going that fast." When they were going the wrong way and face-pulling everything, which meant a single regen popped all aggro onto me.

Yeah I ate the timer on that one.

Hmm something seems to be missing here. Generally when I am healing I time my sprint with the tank not like you need it for anything else in Cutters so your sprint should not be in cooldown if your tank popped it.

Wrong way could have been them doing a full clear or something. Also depending on the level range of the tank hell even at the higher levels some tanks hate regen which I do not agree with but if you have a tank like that it is not worth though.

He was kind of zig zagging. He popped it in the first room when I knew we wouldn't need it, so as soon as we got to the actual corridor I popped it right away expecting he would, too. But then he didn't. After that we were just out of sync the whole time as far as sprints go. Also, I was AST on diurnal and I'm used to being on nocturnal, so I was floundering a bit myself. I'm not the best healer and will readily admit I suck even more than usual when I don't have my full kit, but man, all I did was ask him to slow down ;o;

Getting a DPS who gets hit by every single mechanic and dies from full hp, says "stfu" and declines my ress. I would've bailed out if it weren't for the sprout who needed to finish the dungeon for the MSQ. >_>

that's griefing. Tanks who do "you pull it you tank it" need to be reported.

I only use that type of thing when ranged keep things way off in Narnia while I am keeping everything else contained...at the very least(especially BRD, DNC, and MCH) they should bring it straight to the tank if they steal it during the pull. Hell, any of them mages could even run to me, let me hit it with my AOE that I'm already throwing around like glitter, and ten move back a bit to do their thing....but keeping it in Narnia, when I've already used Provoke on something else...you're going to be a lower priority than keeping everything else on me, and my mitigations going so the healer can DPS/not have to try and catch me
