Request: Longer hairstyles & More male hairstyles

Biggest obstacle to long hairs is the rigging system they have that handles the physics of the hair. This is not about clipping but the motion of the hair around the body. As it is now, if they made it longer, it would eventually start flopping around like it was a board.

It may require an overhaul to get long hair to flow properly on player characters. The reason why some NPCs have long hair that works is that they made custom rigs for those characters.

I really would love to see more hair but I do not expect them to expend the resources to make it work. My gut feeling is that XIV is in profit optimization mode so they are being careful on any expenditure that does not generate new revenue or extends subscriptions.

Makes me wish we could have a kind of Kickstarter for new hair. If enough people preorder it, they would have the money to justify making them.

The physics are usually pretty terrible on them as well. Yotsuyu and Gaia's hair are particularly comical in some scenes with how wooden they are.

If we're talking male characters' hairstyle from other FF games , then my wishlist would be:
- FFX: Auron, Wakka (and their outfits)
- FFXII: Balthier, Vossler, Cid (and their outfits, tho we already have Balthier's)
- FFXIII: Gadot, Amodar (and their outfits of course)
- FFXV: Ignis, Cor, Titus, Nyx, Libertus

Ah yeah I forgot about Gabranth, his is nice as well.

While Hope's hair is not my style personally, I do want his outfit tho haha. We need more stylish waist long, short sleeves jacket without any unnecessary attachment.

There are certainly way to many anime-protagonist hairstyles- which typically looks really silly (like rainmaker hair)- and look at that 1 giant pompadour - it's an eyesore because there isn't much in the way of unique or stylish hairstyles

Myself personally, I'd like more male styles that look less like they stood in front of the mirror, doing a smoulder for 8 hours trying to fix their hair but the lack of good pompadours is a shame
I'd also like to see Curly & wavy & dreaded hair for males- it would be *chefs kiss*

The game has a ton of feminine, short hairstyles. We have like 2 or 3 dozen of them already.

Would like to see more unique hairstyles that haven't really been done in the game before. Really long hair like Tifa's or Sephiroth's or Zenos' that go way down the back.

Could also have really "out there" hairstyle's like Seymour's.

Also, a few more male short hair styles with no bangs covering the forehead would be nice, like the aforementioned XII characters.

I've been wanting time skip Ignis' mini pompadour to appear in FFXIV for so long. Look at it, its perfect!

Terra Brandford's hair would be AMAZING. It has this gorgeous high pony tail look, but with a nice simple elegant style to it.

Rydia's hair would be lovely. It would also be a great time to add FFIV hairstyles for the next expansion.

Cecil's hair would be wonderful for men and women alike. It would definitely add a more feminine masculine touch to the game.

Kain Highwinds hair would be a great simple long pony tail style. It's not known to most, but he does have a beautiful mane in IV.

Edward Chris Von Muir isn't known to most, but he would be a great hairstyle addition from IV. He has a gorgeous medium set of straight blonde locks with a lot of texture and volume.

Rosa is similar to Terra Brandfords style, and would work wonderfully. :3
