geez, the bias in your post is crazy lol. The ending gave me a chuckle. At first I was like, man this person is being a bit TOO picky on very minor stuff thats almost unnoticeable if XYZ thing. Such as when i have hate as RDM, I just run to the spot the tank is going to be, (or is at) so the tanks AoEs hit the mob(s) that is/are hitting me. Sometimes sprint/displacement gets me there before the tank even gets there. And no, 2 GCDs + oGCD AoEs from a tank isnt going to hold hate over me every time, roughly 33% of the time Ill be at max hate before we get to the second pack of trash mobs, even if the tank stopped to use 2 GCDs in a row before running off. But I was like, maybe they arent being biased, and have legit complaints about DPS in the same manner. (Such as not using LBs at all, or ranged not using LBs in massive pulls, or ranged using LBs before melee. as a melee ive had this happen, im watching the bar, and and soon as i hear it ding, i press it, only for it to cancel, and i realize the ranged are doing it or, based on how trivial your complaints are, DPS jobs that have different rotations based on the number of mobs alive, but arent using them. an example was SB RDM, where you'd have 3 rotations, depending if it was 4+ mobs, 3 mobs, or 2 or less mobs All equally the same level of trivialness. Though I will say, DPS have gained far less responsibility than they once had, so theres less to complain about now, compared to years prior. But for the sake of continuing the trend, i will say Feint/Addle, and how DPS dont use them in trash packs/bosses. Or oGCD CCs like stun, or if spawned mobs are about to hit you before the tank for any reason, and u dont use arms length, and similar mitigation tools. And lets go to the tried and true DPS requirements we still see failed today.
(1) Kill the adds.
(2) And actually do reasonable dmg, rather than watching netflix.
You can say the other 2 jobs have to do this, but like your comment about "not healing a DPS" and "the lost dps of a GCD to heal isnt equal", the same applies here. the DPS not doing these 2 are far more important than the tanks/healers not doing them. Its far more noticeable, and sometimes causes wipes, where as if the tanks/healers dont do them, it usually wouldnt cause a wipe in the same scenario.
