Possibly even ways that could be considered worse. 18+ RP doesn't always mean "ERP" is taken place at a venue. Some venues don't even have that option, but just want a more adult/mature crowd. These venues probably don't want to deal with sqeakers or a younger audience. Just because a PF ad has "18+ RP" doesn't mean they have erp on the side. Take each PF AD with a grain of salt.

Minors are curious little shits and will wander into territory that isn't for them. All of us were like that when we were teens. It's a given. You can try and guide to the best of your ability. They may be exposed to things that isn't technically "minor friendly". It's how it is anywhere on the internet. When I was young, I was regulated (even if the internet was technically 'young' then) with parental controls or an account with said controls on what I could access. It's the responsibility of the parent(s) to guide their child(ren) in the right direction. That's just how it is.

At the end of the day, mature RP/ERP will be in any MMO, not just here. Even with cracking down, people will continue to find ways to do it. RP PF ads shouldn't even be targeted unless it actually has disturbing content. If it is found that there is illegal activity, contact local authorities/report to SE, so they can take appropriate action. Arguing on a game's forum about how righteous and virtuous you are about "protecting the children" isn't going to sway anything.

I will not reply to any quotes. I have said my piece, agree to disagree. Disagree, whatever. o7
I cannot stress this enough: the GMs don’t care if you ERP in private. They aren’t trying to “stomp it out”. This was not some sort of ERP “sting”- nobody from the venue was pulled into gaol for participating. It was literally just the people hosting the public PF, all three of which openly offer ERP services listed on the websites they linked to in their PF directly.

How about instead of fighting back harder you just, idk, don’t advertise it in PF when you have been asked not to? Whether it was direct or indirect doesn’t matter. If PF is the issue then just use another avenue for advertising.

“Even with cracking down, people will find other ways to do it.” Yeah, this is literally all that is currently being asked of these venues. Find other ways to do it.
