Tank and healer in dzemael stood in every aoe, made zero effort to follow mechanics until forced, and died twice before the last boss because healer decided to pull everything in the first room. Also didn't wait when I had to dip for a bit because of irl and nearly died because they were outside the safe zone during 1001-ing. And no, no one was new to the dungeon, they just sucked. Monk was the only one who tried.

When your tank is a chocobo who doesn't want to be an extra crispy Dravanian Fried Chocobo.... It was a good run, however, lots of giggles and banter. Its kind of rare to find this kind of party.

Three stories

1. Trial Roulette: Thok ast Thok (Hard)
   Queueing together with one of my newcomer friend as a SCH. For some reason the co-AST decides to pick Noct stance---it's fine. It gets somewhat spicy because apparently they only knew how to [Benefic II] and overwrite my shields with theirs to the point I pretend mine never exist on my hotbar. Halfway into the encounter their MP were dwindling under 800...just how... Additionally, two DPS were obsessed with eating tankbusters.. oh dear.. care to learn that tankbuster cleaves exists? Oh whatever, may your deaths be a lesson for future encounters... fun stuff.
   
2. Level 80 Dungeon Roulette: Anamnesis Anyder
   Loaded as a RDM into a party of PLD, WHM and MCH in addition to first timer notification. PLD were in their AF gear so they are somewhat on squishier side (and they knew this too). Single pulls? It's fine. Meanwhile MCH randomly firing their single target rotation with occasional AoE in-between...it's fine too. At second boss for some reason all three decides to eat mechanic over mechanic. Rez mage? You know what to do... I salvaged the encounter, no wipes. Feels good. WHM was being all cheery with their chats, seems trying to lighten up the mood despite the screw up. I appreciate your presence there.
   
3. Manual Queue: Sirensong Sea
   Helping my newcomer friend for their MSQ progress as a WHM... I just want to say sorry to you and my two other partymate. Everything was going smoothly until when we arrive at last boss: my internet HeRpDeRp. I made them all waste extra 8 minute just for me to switch to slower but more stable mobile net just to deal with the last boss. Of course, my regular net decides it's a good time to give me back the nice smooth internet only after that x_x I wouldn't mind if they were to kick me out tbh but they didn't.. so I guess...thanks(?)

Oh! This so reminds me of a run where I ended up with a co-AST as well... with Noct. Sect. It was in a different Praetorium run, and I swear, all he did was shield, shield, shield, shield every damn time it's useable. I keep seeing this Aspected Helios [No Effect] on my screen. I mean it was nice I can just focus on trying to ruin everything and not heal at all, but.... /le sigh

A lighter post. Queued Copied factory on a whim (after 4 AM, lolol). Didn't die despite my sleep deprivation, surprisingly. There were multiple deaths but who cares, I'm not expecting anyone to play at their best after 4-freaking-AM. People were poking fun at themselves and there was light-hearted chit chat - good run all round.
