Is this legit Harassment?

So I went on this morning to camp a nice plot in Lavender Beds and only had two other players (who both in the same FC) camping it. Soon as I started my clicking, they started spamming says at me to go away and summoning mounts etc etc. Now whatever with that but then they started spamming party invites and executing trades to prevent me from clicking the sign.

After about 20mins of this I called a GM and his response is he will investigate it. While this conversation went on, a 3rd member of this FC came around a started doing the same. Fed up at this point I finally just gave up and left.

Just wondering if I am right to call out harassment and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it?

This is harassment. Not only were they spamming you, they were doing so with the intention of preventing you from doing something in the game that you have every right to engage in.

You can set yourself to busy to prevent players from inviting and trading with you. Do that next time you go to purchase a house so that you do not have this experience again. Sadly this broken housing system we have can bring out the worst in some people.

'Large mount griefing' is play disruption. It's best to say something like "You're blocking the placard, please move your mount" and then report it, so that when GMs check chat logs, it's clear that you asked the player reasonably to stop griefing you.

If the player responds "I'm griefing you to disrupt your play experience to my own advantage!" then they're basically asking for the GM to look unfavorably upon them.

Never feel obligated to respond to chat messages during a camp. No one has any authority to ask or tell you anything. If you'd enjoy a chat break or want to return a greeting, have at it. But if someone walks up and says "respond or you're reported for botting" that's clear harassment - report it after you win the click war.

Gotta keep updating the respond to the GM, because it is such a clear attempt to disrupt, spam and flood in one, in what they do also you can press X on the keyboard and click the thing still without clicking on the player(s)

This kind of behaviour should give bans at once.

Those huge mounts also amount to nothing, since there is a hotkey for targeting and interacting with nearby things like NPCs and housing placards. It will fix all your targeting needs in times of housing placard harrasment ^_^.

I think marking your character as "busy" helps a bit

I don't really understand the trying to prevent clicking mentality when having to interact with a timer Going busy is certainly important with new housing ward additions because all the houses are available and someone can stop a person from buying a house until a friend gets there in a mad rush.

It doesn't hurt though especially if you encounter trolls doing what you say there were doing.

I've definitely heard of people opening trades even at camper plots. It's not uncommon for people to have friends/FC mates present for emotional support. Sadly, this means that sometimes you see camp companions that want to bully others into not joining their friend at the plot. People have done all measure of discouragement from saying "we've been here 8 hours, please camp another plot and leave us this one" to opening a trade window every 5 minutes. Sure, the trade only stops you for 10 seconds each time, but it's a hassle their friend isn't having to work through.
