Visiting classic Final Fantasy worlds in FFXIV

I think it's just a weird translation and we are getting our hopes up for nothing, but it would be awesome if the Echo or something enabled us to visit past worlds of Final Fantasy for short amounts of time and live through cool stuff which is important for the storyline of Eorzea

Are they just adding small towns, cities or areas with names of previous FF cities? Or are they adding features from previous FF titles?

It sounded to me like they would be adding more stuff like the Crystal Tower (which was from FF3). Since the Void is a thing in FF14 maybe we will get an area that homages FF5's final dungeon, hopefully with the sweet music.
