Conveniently forgot to mention I said publicly, I don't think anyone care about whatever ERP people do behind closed doors. People aren't prudes for not enjoying other people's exhibitionism.Oh so people that are bonded engaged in ERP to consumate their union are being pornographic? (it's an example) You really need to step back. I find it so rich that so many people are being sanctimonious about this, but have probably grabbed a magazine or saw a video and pretend like they haven't. The lot of you are hypocrites in their lowest form to a point where it's an insult to hypocrites.
im baby
Taken from the reddit post's OP who reported ERP venues:
"To clear things up, nobody was reported for roleplaying. They were reported for openly and flagrantly advertising explicit sexual interaction both in game and through carrd with gil price sheets for erp activities. They're hiding behind "GOING AFTER INNOCENT ROLEPLAYERS" to hide their degeneracy. And I didn't just report the erp'ers but the runsellers too. It violates ToS. And a lot of people are sick of seeing it.
TL;DR reported about a dozen ERP party finders last night since there were more of them than there were High End Duty parties, wake up and theyre all on the front page of other places having a cry."
If you want more info, you'll have to find out more from there.
I have only one thing to say... do they need some Aloe for that sweet BURN!!
UwU
LOL... tell me type of content that people post lvl 999 ads for 24/7. Don't even try telling me the content selling, because that's against the rules and those players routinely get banned. They just consistently take over other accounts and make more bots. Don't equate these things because it's not gonna be a win for you. It's not where "we" belong. The RP community is just as much part of this game as the raiders are. Comments like this, truly amazing me at how ignorant some people can be about specific things. Just because YOU don't want to see it, doesn't speak for everyone else on this game. You have no right to speak for everyone else. I do both RP and Raid, I don't condone to some of the behavior that goes on within the RP community, but I'm also not going to try and police all of it. Maybe, that makes me part of the problem by ignoring them, but maybe it doesn't. I at least have enough common sense to know how a PF works. If I don't want to see RP advertisements, I click through the different tabs on the PF to find what I am specifically looking for. That's what a lot of people are forgetting here about the PF. It's set up to where you CAN see specific tabs if you choose to do so. While I agree that an ad shouldn't be up 24/7, I also don't care enough to stir that pot. It doesn't affect anything that I'm doing in game, so why am I going to make a huge stink about it? If I don't want to see it, I don't have to. It's that simple. Instead, we've this HUGE uproar over someone reporting RP ads... Hell, I think there was also someone that wanted a fishing buddy. Why? Because they couldn't put on their big girl/boy panties and click off of the PF that bothered them so much.
Tell me one thing of raids/dungeon/etc that is there 24/7? That multiple people post for the same exact event? You can't think of any, huh? Sometimes there are ads for discords for raid finders, but I rarely see those 24/7.
And also i love to see this assumption that I am raider and are against RPers. I have literally this week, criticized raiders for being inhumane about the ultimate cancellation. I am a equal opportunity call outer of entitled behavior. Yes, YOU belong in fellowship finder, just like all the raid finder fellowships, blue mage fellowships, etc.
Also I literally use XIvlauncher, and see none of these things, so I'm not personally bothered by it. I still think you need to learn to use the right tools. I would say the same if there was some raiders who posted 'COME TO THE STONE, SKY, SEA FOR TRAINING IN RAIDING' and such thing 24/7.
For the most part, most do not, there's a big difference in 18+ and ERP venues. Those who RP typically know the difference. The assumption outside is that 18+ connotates a certain type of play. That said, nightly there are a number that link to websites detailing services offered.
Ex: Erotic Roleplay (ERP) includes...
I host 18+ events, and have for years as the company of adults is preferred both socially and for comfort. Nobody here knows what the images above actually reference, it's not available to us. It's not black and white, no matter how polar we want to make ourselves. It's not a GM hating on RP. We can be fairly sure it's not just about venues that prefer to cater to adults. If we reasonably ask each other 'what' the goal was, the answer is pretty clear. The GM went about it wrong.
ERP should be kept private, between consenting adults. It shouldn't be front and center for public view.
Can we ban people posting discord links for RMT now? LOL
But they do, In the FFXIV FB community I'm in, it's a constant scorn for them. They care so freak'n much it's actually bordering on an obsession with folks. Also, I'm not an advocate for OPEN world ERP in public venues in the slightest. I just think that the people that are freaking out about PF's need to stay in their lanes and use the PF functions for the specific functions they have tabs for.
Totally agree, ERP should be private, between consenting adults. The previous point - I've seen the difference between the two. Most folks go to have a good time, and in the off chance something happens, it's between consenting adults.
nah they really don't, I know guys that have been selling runs through pf as long as I remember and they're still playing to this day
