My wonder is what are they ultimately doing internally about the whole Hrothgar/Viera issue. It's strange that nearly 2 years after these races implimentation that they havent sorted this issue unless theres something else happening behind the scenes like developng the other halves of both races as well as a wider overhaul of the game graphics in general.

I want this so much!! It seems like such a basic thing to add! Let hroths change their hair/face in the aesthetician!!

It certainly isn't impossible to add, since some races can change features in the aesthetician other races don't even have, like limbal ring colour for Au Ra. They'd probably have to tweak how the hair is selected since it's tied to the face currently, but it doesn't seem impossible.

My only current wish is the unlinking of manes from faces for Hroths now. That’s why I swapped back to my highlander because I didn’t want to have to Fantasia to change my mane style. cry

I don't think they can do that because each hroth head has a different shape... if you try to put hais from other face types they will usually have spots where they'll be floating above the head (not touching the scalp) or have clipping on the ears or other places...
That's why I think the best solution is allowing us to change faces in the asethetician. I know that's a big ask as some other races may find it unfair, so I really want them to expand the asethetician allowing us to change eye color, faces and oher things. They could keep fantasia for race and gender change, maybe clan change too.

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with Aesthetician being able to freely edit your character except for a race change. Just charge more gil for certain big-body changes.
