Perhaps they were mad at you for improper (or no) mitigation or some other slight?Normal raids roulette.
E9.
I got no healing whatsoever, leading to me dying to Auto attack damage.
Then the healers left me dead for the entire fight.
So first they refuse to heal me, then when i get killed by autos they just leave me there, THEN they start healing after the other tank takes over and they proceed to 7-man it with no issues while i lie dead on the ground the whole fight.
I feel trolled.
And here we go again.
"Improper mitigation" "Use your cooldowns" "I'm going to tell you to do that thing you are already doing!" "I don't care about objective reality, i'm going to pretend you are not doing the thing you should be doing even though you actually are doing it so i can be mad at and punish you!"
*Facedesk* Same old argument, every time.
The only thing i could have possibly have done to set them off was pulling without a countdown in normal mode, apparantly that warrants such treatment.
Yes i'm salty.

Ouch, I've had a similar issue when I did a run of expert roulette as a black mage, healer would constantly rescue me out of leylines and into aoes and refuse to heal me. I didn't even do anything wrong besides queue in as a black mage into a group that seems to hate me for my class choiceNormal raids roulette.

Garuda normal. Tank forgot stance for two minutes into fight, four if you count the following: WHM was using one handed weapon and shield. WHM connected from the bloody First irl. They were also wearing the Brand New Ring. At 46+.
That's what you get when SE ties rewards lots of people really want (the Relic) to content very few people actually want to do (Bozja). People do the absolute bare minimum in the content to get it over with as soon as possible.Just entered a DR group where 0 people had dps Essences. Only 2 others in my group even had an Essence, the useless HP enhancing ones that do nothing because mechanics either tickle or outright kill you with Doom. It just baffles me that people can't be bothered to bring an item that costs next to nothing on the MB or you can farm for free from the very first mobs at the Bozja entrance that straight up boosts your dps output by 30-100%. In a raid you need to farm endlessly for the relic.
It wasn't a group of new players, only 1 death, mechanics handled perfectly, a few with the Legend title but they chewed through the first boss slower than paint drying. I felt no shame in ditching that group.
Which is why I refuse to do DR as anything but RDM. If needed, I will drag the broken and battered corpses of my party members across the finish line, but letting them lie there on the ground is letting them take the easy way out. They need to suffer like the rest of us.It's really not a bad raid to run. I enjoy it a lot. It just requires more than half a brain cell and people don't like using that much brain power. It is also completely doable without essences, though you will never see me running without one equipped. They do help.
Pretty much. Farming group or no essences. I'm not gonna spend any gil on them. I used up most of my DPS essences doing DR.
Well, it's mechanics are fairly brain dead simple, it just requires people to pay attention. About it. Now that's the thing.Which is why I refuse to do DR as anything but RDM. WHM | RDM | DNC
The less mechanics you have to do the easier the fight is if you ask meWhich is why I refuse to do DR as anything but RDM. My first DR party had five healers, two tanks, and one DPS. We had no shortage of rezzes.
Anyway, earlier today I did Leveling Roulette as MCH just on a whim. Game slots me into Copperbell Mines with a GLD, a PGL, and a WHM. GLD and PGL do fine-ish but the GLD forgets their AOEs from time to time. The WHM, on the other hand, refused to DPS. Straight refusal. The only time they took action was when someone needed a heal, at which point it was a Cure or two then back to standing around doing nothing. At one point they even put their staff away. I tried to votekick them but it didn't work. They did assist with bosses and started actually DPSing on the last leg of the dungeon but that's one WHM I hope never to see again.
