Teleport Trade Cancels Need to Stop

Square-Enix ... Yoshi-P ... When in the world is this going to get removed? I'm tried of people Trading me while I am teleporting to another area in game which in turn cancels the teleport...
Asking them not to do it, doesn't work.

I though this was removed during a patch ages ago... I cant even teleport to my PHousing without getting abuse with trades while teleporting.

We should not have to change our online status or waste a blist slot to prevent people from abusing system functionality to hold us hostage.

Considering how often players teleport because it is the primary way people go from one place to another, this really isn't a solution. You would have to be constantly turning it on and off if you still want to be able to do basic things like receive whispers from players.

Not an entirely useless solution though given the correct circumstances. For example I would advise anyone who is in the process of purchasing a house to put themselves on busy because not only can trades interrupt teleporting, they can also interrupt interacting with the placard.

Personally I think trades shouldn't be able to interrupt anything. It makes it way too easy to troll someone.

In my experience, the GM team rarely takes more than an hour to contact me regarding an abuse report.

Who are these legions of randos harassing you by trying to trade as you TP?
If there are really that many harassing you it's all the more reason to start taking them to task.

I understand how you feel, but a GM will likely get back to you the same day. Possibly within the hour. It definitely doesn't take them months to go through reports.

It might be frustrating, but this is the best way to get trolls to stop. Sometimes they need to feel direct consequences. If any of the people doing this to you are repeat offenders, it also means you'll experience this issue less and less.

Holy cow just how many times per hour does it happen to you if it would take up so much time to file the reports? Are people actually flocking and following you or what? Some new type of social interaction I'm too antisocial to experience? This sounds like half the server is after you specifically if the sheer amount of reports would take months to reply to because I usually get a reply within the hour.
Anyway, report them. If it happens to you this often, they're probably doing it left and right and will eventually get banned for it and everyone can live in peace once more.
