    Since they redid Sage to be completely unique to ffxiv (it was originally a master class of whm and blm) I think the melee dps will be Magus or Warlock reimagined for XIV. It's been in previous FFs as a upgrade to blm and rdm but we could see SE mold it to a more melee focused caster that uses Enfire, Enthunder, Enblizzard, etc.

    That reminds a bit of what a Runefencer would do. I'd be on board with that.

    I'm also imagining them maybe finally introducing a hammer so we don't have another Gaia situation where an artists doesn't realize none of the classes actually use hammers (outside of a couple of glams!). Lol.
