Months of harassment

Are they still at it? I left the Novice Network a long time ago because I wasn't a mentor at the time and I didn't find anything particularly useful in it. I'm on Brynhildr, and I can't remember which Data Center that's on right now, I'm short circuiting. I find it funny that SE hasn't dealt with this troll yet, because from what I've read so far, the player has violated ToS in almost every way possible. Is it possible for SE to ban a whole IP from their game? Because that's what needs done with this person. The only thing I can think that might be slowing SE down on dealing with this is if they're investigating whether or not the person's account got hacked/stolen... but even then, does it really take that long for them to determine that?

It has currently stopped, but it could be like last time. He did this crap a few months ago, left for a while, then came back and started it up again. We don't know if he just stopped playing for X amount of time, or if he received a temp ban. Same with the current silence from him now.

Just a semi dumb question but if I Blacklist a character does it Blacklist all the characters on the account in this game? Some games do it that way and some don't which is why I am asking.

It just blacklists that one character.
Any other characters that player makes will not be blacklisted until you blacklist them, individually.

lol, this does nothing when he's using multiple throwaway characters. this game desperately needs some actual player-level social features like a "global friend" and "global block" that friends or blocks the account itself instead of the character.

I know reading 20 pages is a bit long but why reply if you have no idea what you're talking about.
1. Been stated multiple times that many people filed what seemed like at least a hundred reports in-game in total against all of his characters.
2-3. He spams, he leaves, he creates a new character, he repeats. Not only would you have god knows how many blacklisted characters and probably reach the limit but you'd still see the spam once he comes back with a new character shortly after. He doesn't even stay in NN.


On the other hand, glad to see that it's been quiet for now, let's hope he's perma banned.

Logic won't work here friend. If the issue is resolved there will no longer be a need to complain incessantly. People don't like to resolve anything these days. They would just rather complain about it.

Exactly. They want us to ignore blatant ToS violations because they think ppl are complaining. Ugh. Easy to do when it doesn’t affect them.

Considering he cares enough to evade people by paying for a name change, I think smacking his main account/character with a ban is the very least SE could do. I've gotten GM notices for far less, so this is just unacceptable.
