orrrrrrrr add cutscene skips and make those raids 5 minutes long. It makes no sense why this has not been fixed yet.

This ignores the minimum item level of the raid. What if I am Level 70, but I only did Deep Dungeon, and have only level 50 gear, but the roulette places me into Orbonne? As someone said in another post, people forcing ARR raids to pop up is messing up with the whole purpose of roulettes. It has become a boring hell of a content and shoudn't be ignored.
Roulette's min iLv needs to be the iLv requirement of the highest raid you have available on your current job so that people can't force a ARR raid every time they queue.
Please devs, do something about it. Its an easy fix and will make a lot of people happy.
I have two possible suggestions. Make the minimum item level consider your maximum item level possible with gear in your Armoury Chest and Inventory. Most players will not go so far as to store their gear in their retainer or saddlebag just to skip a queue, so this should help.
Or, if possible, sync the player's stats up to the minimum item level of the duty. This would make all ilvl cheese impossible.

Yeah. I don't like the idea of "you have to be at the highest iLevel to queue into the roulette", because what if I'm trying to earn the endgame tomestones I need to get better gear? This ignores the minimum item level of the raid. But on the flispide, I also don't like the idea of people actively forcing the roulette to not behave like a roulette. So there's negatives no matter which way you go, and it's best to find the way that aggravates the least people.

Right or wrong - why the heck would anyone want to force LotA again and again and again. I'm so bored of it.
If you don't want to play any of the game that much - why even bother queuing?
They force the first two raids so that they can get exp without having to try. Without having to play or learn their class. The first two raids are too easy(specifically, tuned to too low an ilvl versus the sync they set to), and the reward for doing them is too much. I used to que for alliance 3-7 days a week because i enjoyed the larger instances and groups. I stopped when the cheaters made the "Alliance" roulette into the "LotA/Syrcus" roulette. I know im not the only one who doesnt que this anymore. If you took the CT raids out id go back to queing a few days a week. I would also favor cutting the exp for the lower level raids. Say when you hit 60 the CT raids only gave half exp. Then cut it in half again at 70. Accompany these changes with the deletion of the MSQ roulette(castrum and prae become trust instances like they always should have been - ultima is split out as its own 8 man trial for a climax). Then for good measure, ban anyone who ever unequipped gear to force a low level instance.

you can queue to the specified alliance you wanna do, otherwise you don't have a real reason to go for the alliance roulette or any other roulette for that matter. there are alternative ways to cap your tomes or make gil. if getting matched with randoms or newer players gets on your nerves or causes you stress, quit spamming roulettes and look for alternative ways that are fun for you to progress.
...read the post again. This is about getting the same low level 24man over and over and over and over again because people abuse the ilvl check on alliance raid roulette by lowering their own ilvl to a point where they can literally only get the level 50 raids.you can queue to the specified alliance you wanna do, otherwise you don't have a real reason to go for the alliance roulette or any other roulette for that matter. there are alternative ways to cap your tomes or make gil. if getting matched with randoms or newer players gets on your nerves or causes you stress, quit spamming roulettes and look for alternative ways that are fun for you to progress.
We're not talking about getting matched into LotA, Cyrcus Tower or World of Darkness because of new players, we're talking about lazy players abusing a flaw of the ilvl check for the roulette.
It defeats the entire purpose of a roulette in the first place if all you're ever getting is the same boring thing.
since the crystal tower raids are now essential to move the story along they should be moved over to main scenario roulette
theyre already boring because of the skill cull anyway, the beginning of lota makes me want to punch a wall so seeing it get banished to main scenario would make my heart warm.
And here lies another problem with the people who force the Crystal Tower raids in the roulette: Because so many people get sucked into the lvl 50 raids you have to wait a long time for the other raids to pop. The roulette was supposed to help with the queues for all the outdated alliance raids. But at this point the system gets abused in a way that they might as well remove the roulette from the game. It does not fulfill the purspose for wich it was added for - wich was definitely not to increase the rewards for LotA.
all roulettes have the same number of players/roles for the duties within. Crystal Tower can never be part of MSQ because MSQ is matching 2/2/4 while alliance raids need to match 3 parties of 1/2/5since the crystal tower raids are now essential to move the story along they should be moved over to main scenario roulette
