Simple solution to this. Vet the person you're going to help to make sure they want or can even handle constructive criticism(some people just aren't equipped to)The issue is, people want to help, trust me, but can we do that when giving unsolicited but much needed advice will often result in someone going absolutely batshit at us? Sometimes even leading to a dismissal for some reason. So yes people want to help. But they don't bother because it's often time not worth the treatment they're likely to receive by trying to be helpful. I am a mentor, I want to help people, but the way this type of toxicity is enabled discourages me and many other helpful people from doing so. All of the other things you mentioned save RP are solo things to do, combat content is not and the time and effort your fellow party members put into whatever is being run should be respected and met with the bare minimum, and unfortunately when some players are asked that, they start screaming like banshees.
