A Warning to my Fellow Players

Yeah, Me and my LS are compiling lists of botters and hackers, sort of a black book, we report them and use their name for future reference on recruitment issues, for not only our shell, but many others. This way we can help make the community as clean as possible for a better game experience.

I wish i had friends who cared as much to help me do this. I am running into so many now its not funny on beseid. And some of them are harder to spot cuz they are not always "afk" while using said bots. But when they tend to not notice little things that a normal person would for 5+ minutes, then you just know something is wrong(like getting kicked from behest yet trying to fight until the end like you werent...and dying over and over again and fighting regardless of weakness during such a time, then only asking why you didnt get any SP after behest ended)

This is the exact reason why I am trying to raise awareness, because the cleaner we make this game of bots, the more fun we will have due to the fact that we wont need to frustrate ourselves over bots in our camps and in our game ^^v

If some of us do take this to the level of publicly posting who is doing this, which btw i think is a bad idea. I do have a concern.

Please do not post anything without PROOF.

Several people use medians such as posts with lists of known botters and such in order to exact "revenge" on people they dont like with false accusations.

So if you have these lists forming, just please report them to the task force and leave it at that.

That is why we use FRAPS and pictures to show their behavior. When they are fighting a mob and when they're about to die they put their weapon away and regain HP and the mobs attacks don't hit them. Stuff like that, we record it all for reference.

And i respect anyone who does this instead of just yelling out "So and so is a botter" "He told me so, no i dont have proof only my word" and so on and so forth.

Going mostly on the calling out of people on my server in several fansite forums, whereas in only 1 case was concrete proof ever given to the case of said thief/bot. And every other thread has seemed to be somewhat a smear campaign due to a disagreement between players(we all know how easy it is to just claim someone did something with no rpoof and get suckers to believe you).

Do not post anything, period. Forums ain't a courthouse. You aren't here to publicly give names. There is the Special Task Force for that. Giving names publicly will only get you one thing : an edit/deletion and maybe a suspension. Proof or not. A screenshot isn't a proof and is void to SE eyes.

However reporting possible bugs/exploits to the dev team is always welcomed, yet I would suggest you to call a GM for that, in order to avoid making the exploit public, especially if it a major one.

Yeah thats 1 thing that always irked me, people detailing exploits in public forums......Bugs are one thing, but I used to know people in certain other games who camped the bug forums looking for people to post exploits so they could go and do them before they got locked out.

I would like to see them try to explain the exploits in these forums -.-;
