My personal record for raises in an instance was as a WHM in Dun Scaith a few months back where over the course of the run (involving a couple of wipes) I did 61 raises. I cannot imagine doing 58 in a single fight.

Shoulda seen Ridorona back when it was first released. One guy posted on reddit of a 25 minute Construct 7 fight where there was like 200 raises (not by a single person) or around that much in that single fight. The rotating laser beam just shreds people so hard even to this day whenever I get the occassional Ridorona in my alliance roulette. Even in Bozja with the Construct boss it utterly obliterates people.

Construct 7 is an interesting boss where as long as you have a competent tank + healer alive after the add phase, you basically can go forever since even the stack markers dont do enough damage to kill a low man stack.

Oh, I can believe it. Construct 7 seems to have no hard stop to the mechanics; it's the only fight I've ever had to healer LB3 twice in the same fight. It's just that much of the time, when the fight completely falls apart and you keep picking it up only to have it fall apart again, eventually someone runs out of MP or gets so tired they slip up or just gives up in despair and stands in the laser deliberately.

That's the part about 58 raises by one healer in the same fight that astonished me.

Rumor has it that Sisyphus' punished decided to create the boss in case anyone else had the bright idea of cheating death again, and then it turns out the Champions of Hydaleyn had swayed death so many times that the machine was unleashed on them :P

I got a fanta and I don't know what to turn into... I'm fighting between a miqo'te, Viera or staying Au ra. Also playing ninja is super fun coming from whm and it's even more fun when I'm paired with a Sam or monk. Feels like we're family being all Japanese based jobs.

Was aminor thing but got a Ninja in the level 74 dungeon the other day that seemed like he was only doing the ranged knife throw thing on the first boss. Didn't respond to anything in chat. Made sense to do that maybe in say the water spout phase but it's all he did all fight and while I wasn't paying attention to the ninja during trash, it did take an unusualy long amount of time to die though things were dying evenly at least. Healer tried to talk to him but he didn't respond so vote kicked after the first boss, got a red mage in and rest of the dungeon went smoothly.

Well, earlier on my alt PLD I did a no-no that I told myself time and again that I will never do it and never to cross the streams for it.

Earlier I was doing a leveling roulette, got Doma Castle. About halfway through the dungeon I hit the magical number of 68, and was overjoyed at getting Requiescat. Again. Shiny toy gets used on the second boss and I was having the time of my life as a Holy spammer when it was up. Everything up to the last boss goes swell. Last boss' hp was melting, I was using DV when I could to help mitigate damage so the ast healer could help dps. The mch and sam dps were doing amazing, and then it happens.

I popped Requiescat while I had Fight or Flight up. I felt so stupid. So I clicked it off...why do I still have it--Oh for the love of God I took off Rampart. I felt so horrible for doing something that was so stupid, at least the boss went down fast enough. I felt like one of those plds people talk about here and on the reddit.

Somehow I got 3 comms for the tanking gaff, but still. I crossed the streams DX

Hasn't been too long since my last post has it?... Oh well. Back here with another enabling story that literally just happened.

The Stage is Bunker... in the middle of the desert. A nice level 80 raid where you really don't wanna have to carry but Guess thats just me

I'm on WHM. Looking for a weekly piece. Not cause I need it but.. Glams.. so here we are.
First boss was looking uneventful other than when the add spawned,Our SAM miss aimed their Yaten when they had the red marker and yeeted themselves right off the edge. “NOOOOO!” Was funny and painful to watch. As I'm popping another Lucid to keep my glaring on I take a glance at my co-healer to see how they're fairing. Only to frown. They've got almost full MP. I shrug it off and think nothing of It till I glance again a minute later.. Still full. Hmm. Watching their castbar I now notice them just standing there. Oh.. Joy... WAIT! A CAST!... Cure... WUT? Cure cure cure... Uh... Medica II another CURE.. My luck can't be this bad...

Sure enough the rest of the fight. Was cures. Medica II. A may have seen a Assize or two but I can't be sure. No dps, No Asylum, No Temperance, No Rapture. Can't say for sure on Solace cause I wasn't watching Battle Logs. But All I really saw was the cures and the medicas till the boss is dead. And I thankfully rolled and won my hat. On the way to adds I asked why cure was even on their hotbar at this level. But we all know I wouldn't and didn't get an answer.

No Holy on the adds. No esuna when one of the adds went off. (They kept their paralyze for the full duration) We're now at the second boss. I watch them stand there again. Ask them to DPS. And JUST as that happens. They die... in the corner... Only.. not OUR corner. They're off in another groups corner.. Not sure why they're all the way over there. But they are. I leave them. They're out of range pretty much useless to me and I'm not gonna go fetch them. Now we have no RDMs or SMNs in the party and the party they've parked themselves under doesn't seem to care they're there. They stay dead... for over 2/3rds of the fight. No one says.. ANYTHING. Someone from the party using them as a rug finally gets them up. And they wander themselves slowly back over to the group. Whom has been just fine without them. One DPS death from someone standing in too many bads. But I'm there just glaring away watching them come back.. to .. just go back to standing there. -Sigh-. I ask again for dps and for them to stop just standing around not that I expected to make any progress (Spoiler Alert: I didn't)

Boss is dead. We're walking to the third boss. I'm glancing through party. Only one person is on the server with that healer. So I throw up a dismiss. And cross my fingers, and wait, I can honestly say I FELT it in my gut that it was going to reject with how long it was taking. Sure enough. “Rejected” Now. There's two more bosses. I got my gear piece, so I can literally just run this later on any class I want. Taking a glance at alliance I notice the “finding members” is listed... GASP. Before the third boss is pulled I jump ship pen free. Just cause I was curious. I requeue. “16 min in progress” ...Nerp... Go feed my doggo and my sister's cat. Come back. Put it in again. “30 mins in progress” .. As jerkish as it sounds. I REALLY hope that party was struggling with that healer.

They picked their poison. Bottoms up~
