I am defeated by the kitten, it's too cute. I'll ignore if they continue replying.I have a tiny tactical kitten for us to use should it get worse.

That's how you convince people of things on the internet, people! Pay attention.
This is a me problem more than anything, but I always get lost when tanking ARR dungeons. I've tanked Haukke Manor twice in the past two days and both times I mistakenly pulled the mob batch past the room with the first key in it. Though at least we didn't have to worry about anything because of it.
Kaplan Zereort, the Forever Penniless
Meredith Cross, the BunBun Tank
Himeko Murata, the PantslessHealerGreen DPS
Dont feel bad im forever getting lost as a tank half the time. I think it has to do with that whole grab the mobs, turn around with the camera angle and forget which way is true north is after the trash is burned downThis is a me problem more than anything, but I always get lost when tanking ARR dungeons. Went back to unlock all the raids I haven't done yet and neglected. Omega this time.
Deltascape 3. No one died, we defeated it fine.
Person leaves with the statement 'videos exist'.
...I'm sorry? Did we not kill it fast enough to your liking? Like wtf.
Name Meaning:
Nekaru = Neko + Hikaru
Infitima = Infinity + Ultima
If people aren't screwing up mechanics (at least not enough to die, which is very easy to do on that fight) I don't know why that would be someone's complaint.
Like I've seen groups where the dps clearly needed to read up on how their jobs worked but were that the case I wouldn't be directing people to 'videos' but rather job guides. And for what it's worth if you cleared the first time through at least people had their heads on straight enough to beat the level checker dps check which (somehow) does still wipe people.
What was the context of why that person said "videos exist?" Were there players going in blind and/or were failing multiple mechanics? Did someone have to take time at the start to explain some mechanics forcing everyone to wait before pulling? Did players queue for that instance specifically but didn't bother looking over a 2 minutes video beforehand, or did they get that instance randomly through roulette? There are many situations where reminding people that videos exist is warranted and there are situations where saying that is not necessary.
That is very odd. If you cleared it without deaths then there should be no reason to point out a guide/clear video as those are normally done in the first week the content is out. The only thing I can think of why anyone would do this outside of self promotion is that they were upset you didn't do a certain strat. Which normally only happens in savage and during prog to the point people become stubborn in not adapting to better strategies that don't rely on week/day one progs.
Not much context needed. I guess something ticked them off??? Heck, people just say the darndest things. Once upon a time, after a group I was in cleared Alexander, one of the healers throws out this number:What was the context of why that person said "videos exist?" "Some of you"
" should delete this game"
And then POOF! They leave. Like...okay...
I still remember that fight...it went pretty well. However, I guess not well enough to warrant deletion. I mean, if you're going to say things like that, at least stick around to hear the rebuttal.
LOL poor healer prob had to deal with the keyboard droolers and got annoyed. But yeah telling people to delete the game is not constructive and probably someone who was just frustrated and wanting to vent. But I think that's different than suggesting/remind people to watch the video to help them better understand the mechanics of the fight. The latter doesn't always have malicious intent.Not much context needed. I guess something ticked them off??? Heck, people just say the darndest things. I myself when FIRST approaching a battle as in, my first time with a boss like the discovery. I won't read/watch it because I want the chance to fight it anew and see for myself if I can figure things out (personal challenge as I see looking ahead as spoiling and cheating for the FIRST time fight). Which is why I use Duty finder a lot more than party finder in that kind of thing.
However, I get if that's not what people like and if I die a lot okay, feel free to yell at me (even though it will do you no good).
But as I said. No one died the battle. No one messed up horribly. There were about 3 others that said 'first time' with me. So that should have made it obvious.
They just said it and left, no context.
