    Maybe if we tell her about how the ones responsible for all her sorrow were 12,000+ year old humans struggling vainly to bring their own world back from the ashes, she'll... I don't know. Maybe accept that the whole "humans can't understand us, their lives are fleeting" thing is just an excuse they tell themselves.

    Maybe she can be called to duty? I know that the dragon's deal with Hydaelyn was to protect the star, so potentially she might shirk the shackles if forced to act.
