Honestly I just play now to collect stuff on my main and sometimes put levels on my alt. I guess I avoided burnout just simply because I don't burn out on games I like every easily.

Like others have said. Leveling + normal raid + trial roulettes and one or two beast tribe quests (usually 5mn each). That's usually 1h worth. I did that whenever I had time and in the long run it got me there.
For classes you don't like, use them to level beast tribes.
You can also do daylie PvP and register as Monk and then switch inside to something you like and get the rewards for the monk.
Just don't do a hard grind and make everything step by step.
Fates with friends, use the easy and fast roulettes for classes you don't really like.
By not doing it all same month. I almost have everything capped and play roulettes etc pretty casually. I'm more into crafting.
I leveled everything in SB and did same thing back then, roulettes casually and eventually you will get everything capped in no time.
Sidenote: It's not on this character I'm posting as.

It took me 3 years to get there, and I didn't aim for it as a goal.
Instead, I just took each job as it's own little project, did other things in between, and eventually I realised I was only ~50 levels in total between a few jobs, from getting everything to 80. Then I did a final push and got my Amaro.

For DoW/M, it was beast tribes and msq roulette. The best thing about Prae is I could spend 90% of my time writing and working on other things, even while main tanking, and still walk away with a good chunk of exp. Castrum you only need to run about 50% of the time when it pops since at least 1 person usually leaves, giving you an out if you want it. I also had the perk of having all starter jobs at 50 on 3 chars when ARR launched since I capped them all in v1 when it was ridiculously easy. So that helped.
For DoH/L, if you are not in a super rush, GC turn its are amazing and retainers can usually get anything you need for DoL. I have nearly all my DoH/L jobs capped on my alts and never even picked up a tool on em. Esp now that we can guarantee HQ with a single button push I can craft everything on my main in a couple mins, throw it in the FC chest, switch chars and boom, hq turn ins, done.

Just don't do it... really... You don't need that mount

My number 1 suggestion to avoid a burnout is just to not rush it. Do it slowly over a period of time. Do the roulettes, beast tribe dailies. Daily hunts or a few FATEs here and there is a decent way to pass time while you're waiting for a queue.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.

Never want to do PotD and HoH again...

If someone just wants the amaro, they really only have to level three jobs. Pick a tank, a physical DPS, and summoner or scholar. The last two share the same level anyway, so it spares you some time and lets you put the EXP from two sets of role quests into one job.
