I actually came from DCUO 5 years ago and found XIV to be the superior MMO for me since. I'll strive to try and understand that "Well go back to where you came from" mentality of yours though, and thanks for caring enough to reply. Be blessed and safe out there.

The things you asked for, which came from a hyper specific mmo which we both came from, will not ever be seen in ffxiv. Hence why I told you to go back.

We could get Avengers themed subligar. We already have a star spangled one, could just get a reskin.

I'd rather a Neptunia, World Of Final Fantasy, or Chrono Trigger/Cross crossover than a Marvel crossover and it isn't becuase I hate any of the mentioned IPs (I don't).
With all the bikini tanks and sports mascots running around and living in novelty houses, its easy to forget that XIV is still trying to keep to an established tone. And Superheroes tend to be a little on the campy side, and yet take themselves seriously enough to be out of place in Hildibrand. The tone woudn't fit with XIV (granted you could say that with the aforementioned IPs, or Dragon Quest which did crossover, but I think other JRPGs could mesh well better than the Superhero genre)
Also I'm pretty sure the Avengers Fortnite crossover was partly done to write a comic tie in and get Disney a little bit of that Fornite money
Does that include the space/glaaxy/cosmic-theme patterns for gear? I liked that part of DCUO and kinda want to see on XIV gear.
Plus comapredto that, Domino mask options would seem like a reasonable addition and its not like that would clash with the aesthetic (hell it would look good on ROG/NIN)

I don't think it would be a thing. In a game that has cars, yokai, makai armor, Dragon Quest, and a giant spaceship that crashed from Nier Automata's origins, I would say that a Marvel crossover isn't that odd.

There is a lot in this game that can be filed under "will not ever be seen in ffxiv" and yet is, so I'm not touching that. I'll try to appreciate the guidance you've tried giving me on where I can take myself and my optimism for the absolutely impossible.
On a side note, after combing back through some comments, I will say I agree on not wanting to have Disney dip its toe into XIV in anyway. However, with how XIV has already been defiled a number of times with crossovers, would a MHA crossover be better than the Avengers? Though if I could detract further, I'd really prefer something from Kamen Rider.

Domino masks are kind of in the game already though, worn with bandanas. There are several of them on the market board. And yea they would look good on rouge ninja.

Yea yea, I'll leave you alone. There is a lot in this game that can be filed under "will not ever be seen in ffxiv" and yet is, so I'm not touching that. I'll try to appreciate the guidance you've tried giving me on where I can take myself and my optimism for the absolutely impossible.

And lol @ crossovers defiling FFXIV. FFXV had a crossover with Assassin's Creed. Maybe Square just really likes crossovers.

The key difference is that we did not "get Gundam". We got a unique-to-FFXIV giant robot paying tribute to Gundam. A tribute is not a crossover.
I would much sooner see an Eorzea-specific superhero parody than a direct insertion of highly recognisable pop-culture icons into the game.

What you actually want is the Nighthawk Visor from Toto-Rak, which is much easier to acquire now that we have the guaranteed end-of-dungeon gear drops.
Also the eternally-overstocked Legionary Visor on the marketboard, which is a reddish colour.
