Strangely enough, I'm not getting them yesterday or today. I have no idea if the combination of things I've done has finally fixed it, if crazy nonsense related to the PNW wildfires had an impact, or if the local ISP team has corrected something related. I have no doubt that it'll happen now that I've posted this, so I guess I'll keep an eye on it over the next day or two?
today I didn't get any disconnect but yesterday I had 2.. but I am trying something new today though. I exited malware bytes + exited geforce experience before starting game. The windows defender still is bypassed for this program ( or supposed to be ).Strangely enough, I'm not getting them yesterday or today. I am wondering if it has any relationship with the ports being used.. Ff14 uses a different port to control different things in the game. But what if some program ends up conflicting or trying to use the same ports, would that cause these disconnects?

It's been a couple days and it hasn't happened again since. I don't know.
Within half a month, I have been experiencing disconnections(error 90002). Yesterday only for 1 trip to the Crystal Tower I had 5 disconnections, today for 6-7 hours there were only 3 disconnections. And then the question arises: Why do I pay money to SE for subscription? So that during each RAID I'm afraid that I will be thrown out during the battle? To be nervous once again when this error POPs up? I pay $15 per subscription(for 3 month) to ENJOY the game(which i like), NOT to have problems with how Square Enix treats its work.(on its technical side) Fix this bug(s) already becouse i DONT gonna pay you another $ for buggish game!
P.S. And I understand perfectly well that the management does not care about ordinary users(so that they do not say the opposite) the main thing is that users continue to carry money to them.
I had 3 drops yesterday.
At the end. I think it's not our configuration of computer but the square Enix servers themselves. I feel depending on which server you connect to in their datacenter, you may get disconnects.
Or it is possibly they rotate between players of being dropped due to world being full..
Totally agree with you. I feel technical support keep brushing players off. They need to start a master ticket and start tracking how many people are affected instead of giving lame responses like are you on wifi. It is not a player configuration issue but definitely the game itself or the serversWithin half a month, I have been experiencing disconnections(error 90002). This has also been happening to me for the last 2 days on PS4. Its happening on both WiFi and LAN, and also happened on mobile data when I tested there. I'm getting very frequent disconnects, every 10 or so minutes regardless of the time of day or night, with a 90006 error most of the time though I also get a 90002 at times. Its happening on my main on Ultros, and an alt I created this morning on Cerberus - to see if it was a problem with NA data centers only or if it was a problem in general.
My husband is having the same issues on his PS4 but he doesn't disconnect at the same time I do so its not a problem on our end, but he works for our ISP and just to be sure he verified that the required ports are open, had appropriate testing done on the line etc. so its not a problem on our end.
Make sure to open support ticket too. This has also been happening to me for the last 2 days on PS4. Its happening on both WiFi and LAN, and also happened on mobile data when I tested there. Everyone having issues must open support ticket. Forums isn't a way to get any help unfortunately..

I have a constant error 90002 when i am in an instance when progressing to final boss, or via Main scenario and yet SE say their servers are not the fault. I called them when they were accepting phone calls in the UK pre Covid and they always tell me to thsame thing, reboot routr, open specfic ports and clear cache and desspite doing all of their recommendations, it is not their fault. It has seem to have gotten worse ever since 5.3 landed and yet they still deny the problem is on their end.
I have seem numerous posts regarding the evidence showing it is their fault but they still claim there is nothing wrong. It is getting to the point i sometimes get error 90002 3 or 4 times when doing Praetorium for Daily MSQ.
