Piping up to say that yes, me too. I was trying to do a class quest, got kicked out in the middle of it. Logged back in and tried again, this time got to the end of the quest, then teleported to a city, and the area was really slow to load, and then I was dropped out and got that same "Connection to the server was lost" message. Edit: Forgot to say that this is new to me. Only been getting these errors for less than a week now, and not nearly as frequently until now.
Probably really all server load related. Their servers depending on which you connect to for your character must be maxing out it's connections.
