During Yokai watch event, make fate bosses immune to Doom please

I'm against using Missile/Lawnchair/Doom/Screw on the Boss FATEs, but that Deep Freeze nonsense looks amusing and I might go do that when I get bored of gathering and there aren't many people at that FATE.

On the subject as a whole, far as boss FATEs are concerned, I do think it's pretty dumb that the ARR ones haven't gotten the resistance to percentage blasts, but Devs probably weren't thinking ahead. (Yet they still went to the process of enabling flight to ARR areas. Strange, isn't it?)

If you're going to FATEs and you're playing Blue, just don't use your "I can chunk/insta kill this thing." spells. If you wanna use your high potency nonsense AoEs then I'm fine with that. Let the sprouts enjoy the Spanish Inquisition spewing lasers; it'll give 'em a nice light show at least.

You can enjoy it without killing it in 1 shot. Why are people so selfish? Helping and participating. We are in a mmorpg, not a single player. It's the devs who gave us blue mage of course but let's at least be mature and nice toward each other. Everyone want credit too and participate.

I'm just dying by the irony that they made blue mage in such a fashion because they said they couldn't balanced it for party content otherwise, still balanced it slightly for PF content, and still have issues because of their decisions (where they have to either further balance the job they said they didn't want to balance, or just deal with it messing up other players experiences).

At this point I might be loving to loathe this variant of blue mage. Dislike what they did with it, and they can't even do what they wanted to do with it issues anyways.

Just slap me a white auracite and call me Emet.

BLU being able to oneshot and mess up FATES for other players is misdirected karma for how poorly they were implemented and treated. I wish Square would own up to their mistakes and actually take the time to balance and work it in as a legitimate class. It's probably my favorite class in the series, so I'm admittedly biased. But it still sucks to see it treated that way and then see how the way they chose to implemented can mess things up like this.

Using instakill/gravity effects on boss FATEs is kind of rude when you can get gold pretty much instantly by using Mighty Guard and tapping the boss with a few primal abilities or better yet just healing yourself with White Wind.

Don't blame players for looking for a quick/efficient way to do something, blame the devs.

As Cid Meier has said, it's the developers job to protect the players from themselves.

Comments like yours, though, indicate that this is a matter that needs addressing. As far as I'm concerned, people going around intentionally instakilling FATE bosses to be jerks shouldn't be treated any differently from people who intentionally leash hunt mobs over and over to reset them and keep them from being killed. Both are guilty of open world content griefing, and both should be dealt with in the same manner (at least until proper immunities can be applied to these mobs, as it apparently is for post-50 FATEs).

Eh, I don't think they need to be punished for utilizing the tools they have available. However, this might be something that SE should remember for all future Fate based content in the open world and perhaps make some adjustments ahead of time.

Running away to leash hunt mobs is a tool everyone has available, too.

I'm not talking about the people who do this once or twice, maybe by accident or just to see if it works. I'm talking about the people who consistently do it over and over specifically to troll.
